Chicken pox? Small pox? Captain Tripps?

I'd be pissed if the guy just switched laundry soaps.

Also, anybody got a link for the passenger tweets?

A RASH?!??!?!

There is nothing anyone can have today that presents with a rash that you'd need to ground a plane for. Nothing. Okay? NOTHING.

Mother of god.

Nice thing about Ebola is, it is too effective to be a really profilic virus. Maybe some scientist can make it act slower and be airborn for research purposes.

/Helps when funeral rights don't spread the virus.

Ebola can take up to 14 days to present and doesn't present with a rash.

I would suspect the equipment they wear is simply "for unknown infections, wear max PPE."

I bet you ten bucks she had/has some bot flies.

In Uganda it is not uncommon for hotels to not have a dryer and as a result the laundry is line dried. The flies come by and lay their eggs in the moist towels, sheets, clothes. Then the next time you lay in the bed, take a shower, you get hit with eggs.

The odds of this being a serious threat are about 25 or 6 to 4.

That could totally work too. The guy at our work who had the bad luck to get some bot flies realized they were flies when he felt something "on" his arm moved. When he looked down he made the discovery that rather than "on" his arm there was a bulge within his arm crawling about.

/gross, but honestly it was kinda cool in a "wow, its like a horror movie" kind of thing.

This is why you never go to any African countries that do not border the Mediterranean or are not South Africa or one of the island nations.

Actually, it's mainly spread by direct contact with body fluids, so most of the plane would be safe.

Hate to tell you this, but all of those have their own brand of infections. Even the US does.

Protip:
Try not to get bitten by ticks, or mosquitos
Don't hang out around mice/rats or areas where they poop
Only drink water or liquids you KNOW are safe
Avoid bats
