Is Romney ever going to get around to dealing with that Idi Amin fellow or is Tanzania going to whip out their big black sack and deal with it?

2012-04-26 03:55:28 PM
I was not aware that Romney wore onions on his belt on top of his magic underwear.

2012-04-26 03:56:47 PM
I'm troubled by Alaric the Visigoth condensing his forces; he could march right down the Appian Way any day now.

We cannot ignore the yellow peril!

2012-04-26 03:57:30 PM
If Romney can't stop the infidel hordes at Tours, no one can.

2012-04-26 03:57:52 PM
Haul yourselves up by your bootstaps, my good fellows. It's time to teach those Gerry ruffians some good manners and give them what for, I tell you.

Obama will get over to the Soviets, Mittens, just as soon as he winds up the deal with the Grand Mughal of India and the Emperor of Kwharezm. They're having problems with this Mongol leader named Temujin and his hordes.

You guys had your chance....

You had Jon Huntsman, a man who can make people on both sides of the aisle happy in what is one of the reddest states in the country. He is a successful multi-millionaire, yet he doesn't come across as a clueless jackass. He is a Republican, he's a good church-going man, has a family, doesn't poke the Gays, but you let him go in favor of a bunch of Clown College rejects.

Why?

Because he wasn't a big enough asshole, psychotic enough, or clueless enough. In other words, he was articulate, reality based and sane, none of which fall into which you seem to think are criteria for a candidate, and you DEFINITELY don't want to see them all in the same person? Jesus, you motherfarkers need to be locked up in the loony bin for at least 10 years, none of you seem to actually care what's BEST for this country, you just want to yell 'Libs suck!' as loud as you can, and will only vote for a candidate that can do it louder than you.

2012-04-26 03:58:37 PM
I've got to tell you, I'm think those Templar fellows are beginning to amass too much gold.

2012-04-26 03:58:51 PM
The guy running his mouth in the call was John Lehman, who was Reagan's Secretary of the Navy. This guy was a saber-rattling piece of work, if Gregory Vistica's book Fall from Glory is anywhere close to the truth.

Rmoney can see Russia form one of his houses!

2012-04-26 03:59:51 PM
Well all of you have no worries, his foreign policy plans include the Metternich system. I am sure it will work this time.

2012-04-26 03:59:57 PM
I for one, will not begin to take this threat seriously until the Mongol hordes are subdued.

...of course, this time isn't merely an extension of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.

Trickle down (debunked) economic theories. Soviet threats. Czechoslovakia.

These people are trapped in the cold war era. Are they not satisfied with deifying Reagan anymore, so now they're trying to re-enact his first campaign or something?

We need Mitt to cut the Anabaptist movement off at it source before all of Lower Saxony is ablaze.

What the hell is a Tanzania? It's Tanganyika and Zanzibar, dumbass!

coeyagi: What does Romney plan to do about Magus and his mystic horde? Merle and Lucca need to know which counter-attack to use.

Marle.

Delta Storm for Shadow Barrier, Ice/Fire/Lightning 1 for the others!

Mitt Romney's foreign policy chair, Andre Maginot, does not understand what all the fuss is about.

He has a plan.

I'll admit, I needed to google his first name.

What's Romney's stance on intervention in the siege of Vienna?

Don't tell me he forgot to consult with his Polish allies.

/Has he got Baron Munchausen on board yet?

2012-04-26 04:02:30 PM
.. Wow, those are some stellar foreign policy credentials, buddy.

Well, let's be fair. It wasn't *Romney* who said this, just an advisor.

After all, a president or presidential candidate can't be expected to know everything! That's why they pick trusted advisors who are able to do more in-depth research and acquire more in-depth knowledge, so they can-

Hrm.

That still seems pretty bad, then, if these are the kind of people Romeny's surrounding himself with, huh? Weird . You'd think an expert executive who totally earned the position he had through his managing abilities would be a lot better at picking and hiring assistants, wouldn't you?...

As long as we don't run into Asterix and Obelix, led by their mighty chieftain Macroeconomix.

In related news, i'm in the market for a good Mason-Nagant rifle, preferable a full length one. Thinking of hitting the local gun stores to see what the price range down in Austin in for one.

Got to keep one around, in case the Bolsheviks start causing trouble.

Only in the american version, I think. In the Japanese, they were Salt, Pepper, and.. I can't remember the other, actually.

/Which is why I'm OK with translations altering names like that. Because what we got was far more interesting.

JAYoung: Does Mitt know that people will vote this fall who weren't even born when the USSR existed?

Mitt's figured out something that you haven't. Young people don't vote but their grandparents do and their grandparents are askeered of the Ruskies (and the darkies and of robots eating their medication, but that's for another thread).

It's called going after the senile vote.

Mitt might take a page from the book of King Leopold and lead a mighty army into Zululand to exterminate the brutes.

As I've mentioned in many other threads, I've voted Republican most of my life. I have no intention of doing so in the immediate future because the GOP has been taken over by religious whackos and obstructionists. This is not to say that I'm voting for Obama, but at least the man is TRYING to do something instead of just sitting in Congress and shouting, "NO!" to every idea that isn't "more tax cuts for our rich friends."

Guys like Huntsman and Gary Johnson struck me as reasonable guys, and I'd have been happy to vote for either one of them had they won the nomination. (Maybe I'll still vote for one of them.)

Unfortunately, the media got fixated on:

1) The rich douchebag trying to pretend he's "one of us."
2) The crazy lady.
3) The geezer.
4) The guy with the big head who cheated on his wives.
5) The crazy religious guy.
6) The crazy (but hilarious) black guy.
and 7) The scary guy from Texas.

Lol, I'm sure Schlieffen plan would work, but you have to take in to account how fast the Russians can mobilize.

Well, if we had never cut off funding for the Mujahideen we wouldn't have to worry about all this.

I hear Romney will try to reestablish our special relationship with England by having a nice sit-down with Pitt the Elder.

Romney also enjoys watching laurel and hardy, the three stooges and the keystone kops, so it appears he was programmed many decades ago and as an automaton he is unaware of the passage of time or the plight of poor and middle class people.
