Balchinian: Falling out? Seriously? No one is even willing to record him anymore because he is such a farknozzled dickweed. He hasn't been able to get along with anyone he has ever met, FFS! It isn't "falling out", it is "getting offed by everyone because you are an annoying, preachy, whining coont".

what about Boz? Mr. Borer (sp?) has been his band leader since forever...

This article is sort of malarkey anyway, as it assumes Morrissey has testicles.

they were HORRIFICALLY BAD as a live act....

Jake Havechek: Yeah, laugh and say how much the Smiths suck, but watch how fast tickets to those shows will sell out.

And then watch their disappointment faces when Morrissey doesn't show up. I'm convinced people aren't really even buying Morrissey tickets, and that his "concerts" are a scam Ticketmaster runs to launder money.

Johnny Marr's work with Kirsty MacColl (Kite) is up there with my favorite music ever. I love Morrissey, but Johnny Marr is the man.

Henry Holland: Has anyone here gotten the new Smiths remasters done by Marr? Worth checking out?

Yeah, there are some really improved dynamics. I listened to the remastered "There Is A Light" and compared it with the old copy I had, and there's a very obvious new depth and clarity.

Also, if you're a big Smiths fan, I hope you're familiar with the Smiths Recycle project. Because there are some fantastic gems there.

Sorry for the late reply, no, I hadn't known of that site but it looks like a great one-stop place for b-sides.
