Ha, this is the Raiders pick for Carson...yeah, that's going to work out well for Oaktown.

9beers: great_tigers: 9beers: great_tigers: 9beers: great_tigers: Wow. This might be more dumb that Miami's pick.

How is taking the 3rd best QB in the draft dumb when you need a QB?

Because he could be there in the 20's or even second round.

So you're assuming the Dolphins passed on a chance to trade down?

Or waited to draft him in the second round.

So you're assuming he'd be there?

Yes Greg. I am saying he would have been there.

I can't decide if it's hilarious or sad. Teams like Pitt, NE, and Houston may end up getting o-lineman that should have been top 15 picks.

2012-04-26 09:46:07 PM
I just looked up to mock drafts and both had Miami taking Tannehill with the 8th pick.

Tebow will be playing halfback and ready to pick up the rushing linebacker. Don't worry.

Cincinnati takes Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama.

Eh? Oakland's biggest hole was QB. This year's 1st rounder wasn't a big deal. It's next years that's the killer.

Epiphany: I'm watching the 49ers war room live stream on 49ers.com. Trent Balkee and Jim Harbaugh got up and left the room together for like 5 minutes then came back laughing. WTF DID YOU GUYS TALK ABOUT!!!! I MUST KNOW!

Damn, I should've quoted the guy freaking about OT...

2012-04-26 09:47:43 PM
OK, Bengals take Dre Kirkpatrick. It's a big need, and he's a top guy. Fine. I still want DeCastro at #21, Brown.

2012-04-26 09:47:50 PM
Of course Oakland could have just slapped a long-term contract on Jason Campbell and used this pick to take something. But I've given up on "good" moves and am happy with "not bad" moves.

Reiff, Decastro, or Upshaw. Come on AJ....

Light retired, Waters might and Volmers back has been a problem.
I want a pass rasher for christmas but I'll happily take another Solder level lineman

I'm happy with all these picks, and the reaches by SEA, RAMS and Jets, b/c that means Kendall Wright falls more and more to the Texans.

San Diego doesn't fark up draft picks. Stop worrying.

Based upon your English skills I will let it slide. Miami made a great selection. He is a perfect fit. He will probably with MVP for all 34 years he starts as a Dolphin.

Also Harbaugh is either drinking from a gas station fountain drink that he keeps placing on the floor or its a spitter.

I just checked Patriots.com and they don't appear to have the same setup. Such a disappointment.

/not surprised

They will go D-Line.

Wow, a slow, small guy? Yep, it's the Bengals.

Whoever the Bears pick in the first round is gonna be a bust. If in some alternate dimension the Bears picked Andrew Luck, I'd put money on him being the next JaWalrus.

Someone needs to hack that and link porn

Suck a dick, I'm on my phone. Go ahead and keep thinking you know more than people who get paid to talk football, it shows how dumb you are.

themeaningoflifeisnot: Seahawks took Irvin WAY too high. He's a very limited player who can only make plays if he's untouched. He can't fight off blockers worth a damn. Huge mistake by Seattle.

THIS

He's got speed but once they figure out his angles with no power, he's a 1 or 2 year player at best.

2012-04-26 09:52:16 PM
I'll tell you what. Michael Vick is reformed. I wasn't expecting that, but I'm willing to admit it.

Cordy Glenn is still there. Not a total loss. If the Bengals go DE, then I'll be mad; not sold on this year's crop.

Why does he seem mad to get drafted to San Diego? Weak division, great weather.. pretty good team.. Why so somber?

2012-04-26 09:55:07 PM
Do you suppose DeCastro and Jonathan Martin are sitting at home/there just thinking, "Did you people NOT see what we made Andrew Luck into?"

Because almost everyone understands that Miami is the one team that would waste a Top 10 pick on a kid with 19 college QB starts under his belt. He is simply light years behind Luck and Griffin. Miami wasted a very high pick on a kid who won't see the turf for 2 years--if he pans out. Meanwhile, teams picking around them got real value.

Miami could have done well with Kuechly, Gilmore, or Cox. Instead they took a flier on an inexperienced QB with a slim resume who will sit for at least 2 years, if he develops at all. Waste of a high pick.

We only need him for 1 or 2 years. He can learn from Clemons, who is a complete beast. And you can't double-team everyone. We have beasts on the inside, a killer on the other edge, he'll be going up against lesser blockers.

Love it. Keep not buying it. No one wanted lots of our best players.

Miami sticks him on the field this year and takes someone #1 next year.
