two things.

One- Dolphins made a mistake in taking Tannehill. I'm calling bust right now. Then again I thought Ca Newton would be a bust, so what do I know (although I also said that Dalton would be a good pick, and was right).

Two- DAMMIT I WANTED KUECHLY TO THE EAGLES!#!$@#!

9beers: Tannehill will be a better QB than RG3.

tenton: Actually I like the NFL.com coverage. No crowd, calm analysts. I can put it into the background until I hear Goodell's voice.

Ha!

To be fair to the fins, the fan base would have lynched Ireland if they didn't draft him. I listen to sports talk down here and the fan base is starved for hope, something, anything. Personally I thought Moore did a good job once he started. I was listening to someone on the radio today and they pointed out that he was 12th overall in QB rating last year. Well fins, good luck with that, seriously

Don't know about the Wonderlic score, but Claiborne sounds like he's pretty with it.

Holy crap, the Vikes actually did something right on draft day. I would have preferred Claiborne but Khalil is ok.

cameroncrazy1984: Kuechly goes to Carolina.

Gilmore/Floyd for Buffalo

Would much rather see Floyd, but Nix has been pretty high on Gilmore. And our corners are mediocre.

If Tannehill doesn't get 2, maybe 3 years to learn, he will bust out. If he gets that time, maybe he's got a shot at being decent.

I was hoping for Floyd, but I'm not terribly disappointed with this pick.

Miami has been screaming for a replacement for Marino since he retired. He's not going to get the chance to sit if the fans have any say.
Which they shouldn't, but that doesn't mean they won't.

Agreed. Wanny is building something special. I'm perfectly ok with this.

Solid pick in Gilmore. Not real exciting, especially with little improvement this off-season on offense. But D looks to be much improved this year.

/even if they took Floyd, we'd still need a QB

Yeah but there's no real exciting pick left anyway, so might as well D up.

Epiphany: Gilmore did NOT look excited to be going to Buffalo. "Tom Brady and Tim Tebow? fuuuuuuuuuu"

The major effort of the Bills this off-season has been to put together a pass rush. Brady can pick a secondary apart no matter how good it is if he's given all day. So get two good DEs and see what happens when Brady is running for his life.

As a big Miami fan, I'd be pissed if he doesn't get a couple of years to mature into an NFL QB.

Yeah, I saw that too. Funny, though. You got a monster defensive line, good linebackers and good safeties. He's going into a good defensive team, as opposed to being 'the one good player' that a lot of top picks end up as.

2012-04-26 09:04:36 PM
Hahahahaha, chiefs

2012-04-26 09:04:42 PM
Wow. This might be more dumb that Miami's pick.
