Does it include a "happy ending?"

Damn, and I thought my dentist's office with the large-breasted college-coed dental hygienist intern bent over me was great.

Wait, no, it still is great. I'm going to schedule a cleaning.

My dentist has been doing this for years.

The hot paraffin soak for your hands is nice, but the aromatherapy stuff is a little goofy for my tastes.

Are they still sticking sharp objects in my mouth? Then I still hate them.

Actually, I don't know about you, but dentistry relaxes me. I don't know what that says about me.

You're an anti-dentite.

I actually fall asleep in the chair during cleanings.

Nitrous oxide.

Everyone should be able to just farkin' load up on the NOs and then fark it, we'd be all over farkin' dentistry. People would be knockin' their teeth out just to get another hit.

So...sort of an S&M kinda place then?

They sort of stole my idea. I was thinking that if a massage therapist wanted some good free advertising, they should set up in a dentist's office and offer free chair massages to all patients. As an odontophobic myself, I'd freakin' love this service.

If you're going to enjoy coming isn't that sort of required?

I could be getting hand relief from Jenna Jameson circa 1990, it still wouldn't compensate for having tartar scraped off my teeth.

I have a hard time with strangers touching me so this still isn't an improvement.

unlikely: The hot paraffin soak

Sounds like fun but I'm more of a Top

I like my dentist. They're friendly, they explain things and they address my concerns.
My childhood dentist however, were assholes, deceitful, pushy, condescending and made me feel as though I was an annoyance.

I actually like going to the dentist now, I very rarely have anxiety over it and I recommend them to everyone.

The last dentist I went to made me stabby. Their hygienist was awful and incompetent and the dentist was such a farking idiot. Thanks for wasting my time and money, and acting like a jackass, you cock.

Thanks also for calling me 17 times total about making another appointment with your office. 13 of these calls after I told you to stop farking calling me.

Agree. But it sure would help.

They might, but maybe they shouldn't. A lot of common dental procecures are actually not supported by contemporaneous research, which has been the case for the past twenty years or so. The TCO and average satisfaction on bridgework and root canals is not encouraging. If insurance companies didn't expect you to jump ship, and thus took a more long-term interest, they'd generally prefer to pay for permanent replacements.

Still, a shocking percentage of permanent replacements are performed by under-qualified doctors. So often the way.

The new remineralization stuff in trials might make most of the more dated dental procedures even more thoroughly obsolete, but my guess is they'll hang on for quite awhile. It's not necessary, since cosmetic, preventive, and simple pediatric dentistry can more than float the industry, but . . . people tend to stick with what they're already doing.

The guy is brilliant at PR if he sold that load of bull to the Miami news. Miami metro's had at least a dozen over the last decade, and every other city in the US over 200k has at least one. They also cost 10x what normal dentists do and don't take insurance, as you'd expect. None of us are their clientele.

My thoughts exactly

Except sorry to one up you, but mine are large-breasted, Czech, college coed dental hygienists

No, what would make going to the dentist tolerable would be a little thing called "Farking dental insurance actually covers most of the procedure AND was generally available to people".
