I took this picture about a week ago:

The littlebopper had left his (dirty) bicycle out on the driveway, and we got a light but consistent rain. After it stopped raining, it had left an image in dirt in the driveway. Viola, the Bicycle of Turin!

No, you don't. They have musk glands that produce a really stinky musk. Think of a bucket piss that's been sitting in a hot shed for a week. That would smell almost as bad.

I've got a hypothesis. I think that every animal started out in Australia, and the less terrifying the animal was, the more distance it wanted between it and that hellscape.

What about those godless murder machines known as bears, you may ask? Well, if a bear decided it wanted to just hang out and be friends, most people wouldn't have a problem with it. If one of those hell-bats decided to hang around nearby, the common response would be to kill it with fire.

Regarding the bat

Both of the pictures at Cracked are using false perspective to make you think it's HUGE. The wingspan is up to 5' total. That's BOTH wings, together. If the pictures are to be believed, the bat has a wingspan of about 15' and stands taller than a man.

It's a picture of a bat up close, with a bunch of guys in the background.

This is a more realistic representation of the bat's size--- Still big, but not monstrous:

They used to have some of these in London Zoo.

1.bp.blogspot.com

I used to walk through the park each morning on my way from Belsize Park to my work on Euston Road and used to see them most morning through the bars. My friends and I used to call them Stilt Foxes. It's also the location where they filmed the final scene of Withnail and I, my favourite film ever.

The whole area used to absolutely stink of weed, but I'm assuming it was some kind of musk given off by one of the animals.

i.dailymail.co.uk

They've put up a fence so you can't see them any more

Also, I was in Berlin when there was a huge laser rainbow shining for miles and miles across the city and nobody knew what it was or why it was there. I'm assuming it was the global rainbow. It was awesome.

The bat pictures look like forced perspective with the bats in the foreground.

And no, I don't believe the ant photos weren't photoshoped.
