Is anyone familiar enough with Japanese porn to give a rough percentages analysis? I know I have seen japanese porn where the woman is eagerly participating and it has a more romantic feel to it. I might wager that the porn chosen for the study was generally unappealing to the subjects on its own terms. A lot of porn that appeals to many men does not appeal to many women. Sex is great, but sex as depicted in a lot of porn is cheesy and, well, not that thrilling for a lot of us. The *idea* can be pleasing, but the literal depiction..not so much. That's what the results seem to indicate to me, and it makes sense to me: the thought of sex in that case may well be a lot more appealing than what's on the screen. We can be very particular about the kind of porn we like, and had the study allowed the subjects to choose their porn, I think their results might have been different.
