I had to look him up on IMDb to see who he was. He had a four episode arc. That makes him a "Scrubs" actor? He was on 80+ episodes of "Ed." But then again, what the hell was "Ed?"

He was quite possibly the worst actor they ever had on that show.

That was the show starring Tom Cavanaugh.

Who's Tom Cavanaugh?

He played J.D.'s brother on Scrubs.

Huge scrubs fan here. His character was actually kind of funny in how unemotional he was. Elliot ended up breaking up with him because he was into some kinky sex thing, but we never find out what it was.

This applies to any and all stories about "Scrubs" actors.

I hate to admit that I actually really like that damn show. I've read that they're trying like a bastard to change the name of it because it completely diverted so far from what it was originally meant to be. Also, Todd's "Are you okay?" Five was awesome.

The creator (who also created Scrubs) did an episode of WTF with Marc Maron where he spent a good 5-10 minutes talking about that. He really hates the name.

That may be the joke, but when subby asks "Hey who the hell is this guy" it sort of implies that "this guy" hasn't been working and part of the joke rebounds on subby.

From what I have read is, the deal is that he hates the name Cougartown, but 1) no one has been able to think up anything better and 2) they have a fairly small but devoted audience so while changing the name could bring in a bunch of new viewers it could also confuse and make them lose a bunch of people who watch the show regularly (or confuse their DVR's and not get the show recorded).

I wonder if I should spam Julie Bowen on Twitter and ask her when Ed is coming to DVD/Blu-ray. At this point, I would buy it directly from the studio via a burn-on-demand program like Warner Brothers does with their Archive program for obscure movies. I would do that for Wonder Years too.

Off to my bunk with visions of Sarah Chalke, Julie Bowen, and Danica McKellar dancing in my head.....
