UCFRoadWarrior: "Police have made an arrest in Austin's ninth homicide of the year..."

New Orleans, Detroit, Houston, Miami, Camden etc.....wonder how you can only have 9 murdered so far this year

Shiatcago had that many in one weekend.

Hmm, I wonder if he's any relation to Anton? He's got the diabolical part down at least...

No matter how you spell (or slice or bludgeon) it, those Levay's are always fun at a party.

I don't remember if it was a telecaster or a stratacaster but I do remember it had a heart of chrome and a voice like a horny angel.

Skr: I pictured it as one of those Squire "$150 complete rockstar combo deal!" guitars with 10watt amp.

I bought a $49 guitar amp package. The guitar must weigh 50 pounds. I now play a ukulele I built. It weighs 1.5 pounds. Maybe.

T.M.S.: Sgt Oddball: Was it a Les Paul? I'll bet it was a Les Paul. A Rickenbacker wouldn't even break the skin.

Are you mad? I would much rather take a Les Paul to the head instead of a Rickenbacker. Those things get huge.

And the LP is hollow.

Lolwat.I have a '96 Les Paul Studio, and it's weight relieved but very solid.

/Newer models are drilled though. Don't buy them.

Any LP newer than 1987 has nine holes drilled in the mahogony. I have a 2000 Classic and it weighs around 9.5 lbs. Starting in 2006 a lot of them are chambered and weigh about 2 lbs less.

Eventually I would like to get a mid 70's custom, white like Randy Rhode's preferable. But that's going t run $4k assuming I can find one when I have the money. The one below is $3.5k with 4 days left. I'm watching just to see whet it goes for.

To each his own. Probably a Zakk Wylde fan or something. As long as he kept the original pups no big deal.

If it were a gibson (or copy), it broke.

If it were a fender (or copy), it probably didn't even go out of tune. Keef clonged a stage rusher during a Rolling Stones show, never even missed a beat, kept on playing his tele.
