Can we declare open season on this brainless blonde floozy already?

They shouldn't let her talk. At all. Ever.

The My Little Pony Killer: Can we declare open season on this brainless blonde floozy already?

No we can't attack a woman who makes political statements in support of her husband's campaign because cancer/MS.

/I don't understand it either.

2012-04-24 01:02:11 PM
That's a Joe Biden level gaffe. That's Dubya saying "isn't it great that in America you can work three jobs to support your family? (prarphrasing)

2012-04-24 01:08:36 PM
And I thought that she didn't have any feet left to put in her mouth...

2012-04-24 01:09:45 PM
I mean I can see this time it's a misspeaking, and am just waiting for the inevitable commentary on it, but even so. Monumentally stupid, and they need to get this woman down off the podium because every time she opens her mouth she only reinforces the point that the Romneys (all inclusive) have no idea what it's like to be underprivileged, or in other words most Americans.

We can't attack stay at home moms.

We can attack people who say stupid shiat.

However, when you attack a woman with MS and cancer EVEN IF SHE SAYS STUPID shiat, you're very likely to look like a dick, so be careful about it.

She says stupid shiat a lot. It's not like I'm saying she says that sh*t because of her MS and cancer. She just says stupid shiat because she doesn't understand regular American people.

Spoken at my last family get together: "I'm not gonna go up against some kid with cancer. You'll lose."

It's not like I'm attacking her for having cancer and MS. I just think it's complete bullshiat that she thinks merely having those conditions somehow makes her equal to anybody else. Sorry, but her biggest worry is making it to her appointments on time.

Her husband is guaranteed to make at least one gaffe a day. She's only guaranteed to make one whenever they decide to let her speak.

2012-04-24 01:20:23 PM
How dare you people attack her while she keeps making campaign statements?

2012-04-24 01:21:55 PM
Is Palin advising her?
Denying women birthcontrol and abortion is the perfect compassionate solution to all of this.
Hey, if you can't get a man to take care of you then you certainly deserve what your high falutin' attitude gets you, right?

Wow. And she was supposed to fix Mitt's women problem.

Oh, absolutely. She does worry about her health yes. And that's rough.

But there are millions of Americans who have the same issues who also have to struggle to pay for treatment, and worry about the lost revenue from not being able to work, and worry about who will pick their kids up when their at chemo/PT....etc etc.

But saying "She's never worked a day in her life" was foolish and looked bad.

Yes it was said by "some girl", but politics isn't fair, and the media will allow "some girl" to speak for the Obamas while actual sitting congresspeople are allowed to make stupid comments and then argue that those can't be attributed to themselves.

You have to accept that issue if you're gonna play the game.

Does MS stand for Maginified Stupidity?

2012-04-24 01:55:57 PM
I'll give her the benefit of the doubt on this one, but holy hell did she ever trip over that in a spectacularly bad way.

I think she's infected with the Romneybot virus.

Ok, I get where she was coming from, but WOW, what a horrible way to phrase it. It's almost up there with the Etch-A-Sketch gaffe.

The campaign really needs to go back and examine their source code. Patch upon patch isn't helping Mittbot, and now the same bugs are showing up in Annbot.

Maybe that, maybe Mental Sclerosis ....

I was about to come in here and scold Subby for misrepresenting her, but then I read tfa and that is pretty much what she said. Incredible.

It's one thing to work your way into being very wealthy; at least you have a memory and an understanding of what life is like outside of your private jet.

But this is proving to be an interesting study: "The Rich: Are They Really So Different From The Rest of Us?" The answer is becoming pretty obvious.

The Romneys have only a few months to un-learn a lifetime of learning how to express themselves in the world they inhabit, and to crash course speaking to people not of their world. Its like learning a new language from scratch, and it should be pretty entertaining to watch.

I think the root cause is the sheet that they f*ck through. There is malicious code in it or something.

Aren't they rich enough to have someone write these speeches for them? Or at least read them before hand to make sure they don't sound so colossally stupid?

I don't know about Ann but I will bet you Rmoney doesn't listen to his staff. He's not accustomed to being challenged on anything. So the staff goes into perpetual reaction mode, waiting for his next slip up.

Mormons believe that they're being led by The Spirit when they speak in church, so my guess is he believes this naturally carries over into politics.

I usually stay out of these threads, but after reading the actual quote, this seems like a lot of bullcrappie over nothing at all.

People keep mentioning how he makes an ass of himself in trying to connect to everyone. It reminds me of the 'Building Relationships of Trust' training we received while in the Missionary Training Center. And if you think he is having problems connecting with poor and middle class people, try watching a 19 year old virgin (in every sense of the word) commiserate with older adults with a wide range of day to day issues ranging from divorce to death to other crisis that lead to people questioning their beliefs and opening the door to religious representatives not of their own religion.

Wowser. I wonder how Ann would feel about this statement?

"I love the fact that there are women out there who have MS and they still have to raise the kids. Thank goodness that we value those people too. And sometimes life isn't easy for any of us."

I think we would all agree that would be a terribly shiatty thing to say, wouldn't we?

regardless of whether or not mrs. romney is a clueless nincompoop, it's hard to take seriously any article which uses the term "gender pay gap" in utter seriousness.
