Yeah, considering he's taken over for Rick Dees, Casey Kasem, Dick Clark, has hosted an awards show and seems to be trying to be seen and heard on every possible channel and website on the planet, that picture seems appropriate.

I SO hope that's true.

Seriously, I wouldn't take a piss on him if he were on fire, I wouldn't watch anything he did if Scarlett Johansson were beside him licking Mila Kunis............. OK, stop right there.

Let's just say he is a talentless biatch who has nothing worthwhile to offer the world and yet people keep throwing money at him.

I"m sure glad I'm 50 and have no kids.

Ryan Seacrest represents America's love of mediocrity. He's the Mcdonalds of broadcasting. Yes, there are unimaginably better burgers out there. But Mickey Dees will still be wildly succesful.

I thought he died?

Oh... no wait. That was the other Ryan Seacrest.

I don't like Seacrest, but he works real hard. He gets up early, does his radio show, goes to E! and does a few shows there, and then does American Idol at night. He also manages to fit in press interviews and overseeing/producing of many stupid, vapid shows on E!.

I guess what I am saying is I admire his work ethic, despite not liking his line of work.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I mean, he was even quoted a few years back saying "I may not be the most talented person in the room, but I guarantee I'm one of the hardest-working."

Also, he gets mad points for stepping in after Dick Clark's stroke and helping run New Year's. When Clark came back Seacrest called him "boss" the whole night even though Clark could barely speak. He was just really, really deferential to the old man the whole night, where other people might have attention-whored themselves out and taken advantage of the situation.

Can't really fault him, not many people bust their ass like he does.

Seacrest got lucky, but I defy you to show an example of him having anything but a great work ethic.

You don't have to like the guy to admit he's a hard worker.
