I'm just saying it's an unhealthy obsession.

rorypk: making a point and crying like a little biatch are worlds apart though

Oh, please do point out the vast difference. I vigorously argue my viewpoint in a thread. Call it "crying like a biatch" all you want, but simply pointing out there's no evidence and Pats fans are desperate whiners isn't it.

2012-04-23 08:55:43 PM

robsul82: Don't expect to skate on having it pointed out why you're biatching and whining so much.

Laughing at you and how dirty your adopted team is does not equal biatching and whining.

And you seem way too comfortable in ascribing motives to others.

robsul82: Don't expect to skate on having it pointed out why you're biatching and whining so much.

Zulu_as_Kono: If I've learned anything in my many years reading Fark Sports threads, and I'd like to think I have, it's that large cheeseburgers are inherently funny, and the more often the reference is made, the funnier it gets. Right R-Sully?

What the fark is the matter with you? We make jokes on Fark. Throwing an unending tantrum because of a running joke LOTS of people have in gameday threads is absurd.

jaylectricity: robsul82: No. I defend my team, you defend your team.

I'm just saying it's an unhealthy obsession.

I'm just saying I'm on Fark and I'm going to defend my team when others want to turn threads into echo chambers. Don't like it? Don't enter.

rorypk: robsul82: rorypk: Tapping into the opposing coaches headset would give a team a huge advantage. But the GM? Least efficient person to process and use that info. Unless Loomis just likes the sound of coaches talking, I don't see this really being true.

/robsul82's homerism is hilarious though.

It's not being a homer to point out...well, what you just pointed out, basically.

making a point and crying like a little biatch are worlds apart though

there is a 360 degree difference.

you would have to walk the entire circumference of the earth directly away from one to get to the other.

They are the opposite sides of a mobius strip.

I didn't think I'd read anything on this website today that was dumber than the headline, but the cheeseburger thing is giving it a run for its money.

robsul82: oh_please: Great, but you're gonna defend a system of corruption now that your boys got caught?

Got caught? There is no proof of this, just one person's allegation.

Not YET. The whole bounty thing started with an allegation. Y'all got caught on that.

Yes, I am. Blatantly obvious motives readily apparent to anyone with a functioning brain.

We'll take it.

It does make the management side of the 'aints look pretty skeevy, and while not delivering a game advantage should be punished, preferably by sending loomis to a federal pound me in the ass prison, and maybe some sort of fine for the owner for allowing this to go on.

and i guess to stir the pot, goodell should have 11 random saints fans beaten, dragged from their homes, beheaded on the 50 yard line and stick the heads on pikes around the jumbo tron.

Drew Brees has reportedly been sighted sacrificing minority babies in the St. Louis Cemetary to raise Cthulhu in a sadistic voodoo ritual, which entailed the drinking of the pancreatic fluids and the writing of the words "GO tO a Dark hELL" on the tomb of Marie Laveau in the tears of Brett Favre. Sean Payton has also apparently been impreganted by a Saints cheerleader (or at least a him/her on Bourbon Street), sources are unclear due to the presence of neon lights, hand grenades, and an abundance of purple/green/gold plastic accoutrements. Also, the crab people have apparently drained the life essence out of Rita Leblanc-Benson, resulting in her appearances as her grandfather, Tom Benson.

AnotherBluesStringer: An unnamed source has reported to me that ESPN has been bribing all sports journalists to specifically target scandals against the Saints. One journalist was said to receive $10,000 for getting the Saints coaches suspended through slanderous writing. Though I have no evidence to confirm or deny such a claim, I will report it with the full force of truth, which use to be reserved only for genuinely verifiable stories.

So the defense of them cheating or purposefully injuring players is "its all a conspiracy", makes sense, NO idiots also thought Bush not giving aid during Katrina was a conspiracy as well and it sounds just as moronic.

Once the floodgates open the information rushes forward, if this is even remotely true then Loomis wont be reinstated and his year ban will be permanent.

Dude - I tried. See, here's the thing: as someone who's experienced his home NFL team being enmeshed in scandal, I tried to ease him through the shock of his adopted NFL team being enmeshed in a different and totally unrelated scandal of its own, so that he could maybe get to healing sooner. But did he take the extended hand?

No! No! He slapped it away, spit at it, and I think he wanted to bite it, too, but I was wary by then, and pulled it back when he started looking at it funny.

Then he started making comments about being far more culturally influential than he possibly could be, and I realized he's so far around the bend that now I'm just in "poking with a stick" mode.
