You are right that some of us males would find the first part really something good, and might skip over the rest.

I am not one of them. And likely your husband is not one of them. But there are a large number of people (both sexes) that are simple in their needs, wants, and expectations.

But what I wanted to say in response to your post? I would love to find a woman that knows I am complex, but realizes that the simple pleasures that she thought to give me make a real difference in my life. Complex? Yes. Easy to please?... also yes.

I hope your husband values you as much as you diserve.

If a person doesn't hold a position of power/authority that could affect the people he or she represents/teaches/protects, I don't care what they do in their personal lives; but I think there are cases when it can, or even should, ruin a career - like if you are in a position of power and abusing it (like sleeping with someone you are supposed to protecting like students/patients). If the affair is handled in such a poor or vulgar way that it makes people question your ability to lead, how you treat other people, or your decision making abilities, I can accept it being held against a person. Like if a politician is writing anti-gay legislation while engaging in gay sex and pretending to be a 'family values' heterosexual, it's game on. Or if the person regularly neglected official duties to engage in an affair with a staffer or something.

First, get over yourselves.

Second, author suggests that a stupid decision makes a stupid person; hence men are stupid if they make a stupid decision. Of course this suggests, when including the title of the article, that there are perfect people who never make a bad decision, and none of them are men. Reality, no man or woman one is perfect, perfect is an idea not an actuality.

Third, there has been no research to say if a guy is a skirt chaser he is less capable of decision making, running an organization, or being a good public servant. Most of the best examples of male leadership in organizations and public service have been horn dogs; the smarter ones don't get caught in the moment, but discovered long after their reign has ended.

Fourth, men are actually multi-taskers, they can manage not only work life from home life but love from sex and relationship from relationship. I do believe author cannot, so when a public figure/servant happens to have a side relationship the author believes that will directly interfere with work - because if it were her it would.

You equate sex with food? I can't do without food. Sex however I can do without until someone I have feelings for comes along. In fact, I will put it out here in public. I do not have sex with someone I don't have feelings for.

It's inescapable. Natural forces and drivers are the catalyst behind all human movements and decisions.

Women, in general, are far less stable, physically weaker, less intelligent, less charismatic and generally less valuable than men - not for any other reason than they didn't have to possess any of those qualities.

This is to say nothing of capabilities - in general - women possess the tools to achive masculine levels of charm, intelligence, wit and other redeeming "human" qualities, but for millions of yeas have been able to get food, shelter, a man to entertain them and anything else they wanted simply by being desireable.

There's a reason why incredibly hot women "who could have whatever man and life they want" are shiat-for-brains stupid and generally horrible people. The value of women for millions of years has been a single strategy - HAVE A VAGINA.

Men on the other hand have had to be ridiculously innovative in order to find receptacles for their sperm - that's why despite being evolutionarily superior to women every single important way, men continue to risk their reputations, fortunes, and lives for the opportunity to empty their balls into as many women as possible.

Thanks, and I do understand both your point and what others were saying about simple solutions. My husband is very good to me indeed. For you men, there is also a fairly simple tactic that you can use to persuade your womens into wanting to keep you happy in the bedroom (or any other room, or heck, even out in the woods or on a plateau overlooking a canyon...but I digress): MAKE HER FEEL ATTRACTIVE, and not just when she's all dolled up. Seriously, if you can make me believe that you believe I look sexy and beautiful first thing in the morning or after a long day of work when I walk through the door, you'll get your thanks and then some.
