Couldnt the WWE have sent someone with some sort of personality?

I bet those kids would have loved John Cena. They would have loved CM Punk. But Ted Diabiase JR? Jesus these kids are already suffering enough

That lyase deficiency has a family!

What, the Million Dollar Man's money can't cure it? But it worked so well with AIDS...

Tell me I wasn't the only one who thought this story would be Benoit-esque, with the wrest-sorry, superstar going crazy and braining a kid with a chair.

Wrong TAB!!!!!!

/someone has to say it.
//hope the kids enjoyed it

Vintage Adenylosccinate Lyase deficiency.

what? I mean. I would get it if it were a 10 year old kid. But does a 10 month old care about some WWE star? Would it really move the family to have a c-list actor leading a prayer for them?

John Cena was probably busy at another hospital, dude does Make A Wish stuff constantly.

Never heard of him - but good for him.

cman: Couldnt the WWE have sent someone with some sort of personality?

It wasn't a WWE event. He was at the hospital filming for his faith/charity work, and heard about the kid.

Also... diBiase doesn't do a swinging neckbreaker. He probably would've used Dream Street, which I think is considered a cobra-clutch suplex.

Is it wrong for me to think there's humor in the idea of sending The Undertaker?

And Ted's father is a minister with a busy schedule of community outreach.
Even if I'm not a religious person, from all I've heard he seems to be doing it
out of a sincere desire to help people, so Ted Jr. seems to be living up to that
ideal quite nicely here.

Either way, the prayer would be equally successful.

"Ted Dibiase Jr. leading a prayer for a sick kid in a hospital Brain."

"Waste of time, Monsoon."

"That seems awfully harsh Brain."

"I'm not saying prayer is a waste of time, but if Ted Dibiase Jr. was any good at it, he'd be on TV a lot more."

"Will you stop?"

I believe in the healing power of laughter. Dr. Blake Downs, FTW.

And since it's a wrestling thread, at least until Raw starts, Bonus Mongo!

"... from the Harley Races, to the Barry Windhams... to the Ric Flairs..."

"Never mind that shiat, here comes Mongo!"

When I took my daughter to visit the local nursing home at Halloween one of the kids was dressed as the Grim Reaper. Talk about an inappropriate costume.

Should've sent Booker T. He would start making funny noises, the children would laugh, Booker would cry because he was actually reading a very heartfelt poem.
