I've said this countless times. To blunt North Korea, you need two bomb runs.

1. Carpet the place with Popeyes (or some such)
2. Leaflet drop informing the populace that anyone who defects gets a Happy Meal.

The next morning, there are no more people in North Korea.

My guess the method of their own style would be 100 failed rocket launches burying Seoul in rocket debris.

Which is a disaster for SK and China. Reunification of Korea is going to be much more difficult than it was for Germany. NK is much more backwards than East Germany was relative to West Germany.

Quit your pointless saber-rattling you fat-assed korean fark.

I can't wait to hear you give the order to fire, only to see your artillery pieces clattering to the ground in a heap of rusted metal and sad trombone sounds.

Kim Jong Grimace, you are like the poor kid at school that was hostile to everyone else to cover for their terrible insecurity. Please stop giving us all sorts of things to laugh at. And feed your damn people, lardass.

So if we basically erased North Korea, aside from some families in the South who would miss dead relatives, would there actually be anyone who gave a shiat? Seriously? Hell, I'd even be willing to let China annex some portion of the northern provinces just so they could say they have their "buffer" region.

I suppose that's one way to infuse money into your economy. Make idle threats about nuclear weaponry (and other unprecedented peculiar means) until the US gives you money. The timing though - right after your rocket fails, perhaps it's about time the US called their bluff and then gave me some money. Because I'm an unprecedented and peculiar dude. With cute dimples.

mjjt: wow a whole George Zimmerman country

so that makes South Korea an unarmed black teenager wearing a hoodie?

2012-04-23 04:39:45 PM
Back in the real world, South Korea has the firepower to be a serious threat to that entire region if they wanted to. North Korea, being the first place that would get steamrollered should South Korea go insane and try to take over the world, is pretty nervous about this, and thus all the bluster to keep themselves from crapping their pants. However, until South Korea actually does lose their minds and try to take over the world, this fear is completely unjustified.

While some may question why the people in North Korea just don't overthrow their own regime, the answer is obvious: China uses North Korea as a shield, and does not like the idea of a "United Korea" caused by a South Korean invasion of the North. If there is one thing that North Koreans fear more than South Korea, it's China, and justifiably so.

Trapped between a rock and a hard place.

I'm hiking in North Korea next week, under the invitation of Kim Jong-un, so don't bomb it yet!

You have to understand Kim Jong-un's manner of speaking. He's very forceful and committed to the truth. People get aroused and frightened by his boisterousness, but he's a sensible man with deep sensitivities.

I wish the world would take a moment to get to know him.

Behavior like this is why they are on the short list of countries that should not have nukes. Wish we could just spank them and take away their toys, instead we have to stand by and wait for enough of their own people to starve to death that they eventually revolt on their own. I wonder how many millions must die before /someone/ steps up and put's that dog down.

It bridled at anti-Pyongyang demonstrations in Seoul and at comments by Lee and conservative media. These questioned the cost of the anniversary celebrations for a nation suffering acute food shortages.

Lee said the estimated $850 million cost of a rocket launch intended to mark the anniversary could have bought 2.5 million tonnes of corn.

The launch, purportedly to put a satellite into orbit, was to have been a centrepiece of the celebrations. The rocket disintegrated after some two minutes in what was seen as an embarrassment for the regime.

So, they had a point, then.

"Last week the nuclear-armed North accused Lee of "desecrating"

I'm sorry the nuclear-armed who now?
