Tato Nut Donut shop in Ocean Springs, MS. Beats the pants off of Krispy Kreme and Dunkin'.

I grew up on Krispy Kreme. Truly, there is no other. Yes, I've had the abomination of a Dunkin Donuts. Honestly though, give me good bagel, sesame or poppy please, and a schmear.

jdmac: It is all about Centerville (suburb of Dayton) Ohio's Bill's Doughnuts. A 24 hour proper doughnut shop with the tastiest doughnuts I have ever had. This is what the inside of a real doughnut shop should look like, sorry Voodoo, your stuff is good, but Bills is better.

Agreed. I almost stopped in this morning, but I was running late.

There's nothing trendy or cool about the place (sorry, folks) but if the line's out the door and there's no gimmick, then there must just be good food.

And it is.

Voodoo doughnuts are really good. Top Pot in Seattle is better.

I'm actually from south Florida (never been west of the Mississippi), and I hate hipsters.

Top Pot isn't even the best in the Seattle area. Frost Doughnuts for the donut-shaped win.

Thank you. Thank you. I am moving back to Phoenix. Thank you.

I grew up in KC. But have been in PHX for almost 15 years. The other day a girl brought some donuts in to work in a Lamar's box! I had no idea Lamar's had expanded beyond Kansas City. That was a great day.

You know why maple bacon donuts are touted as the best donuts? Because people love bacon, and they love maple syrup. You know what's delicious? A stack of pancakes with maple syrup and a side of thick cut bacon. You know what's kind of gross? A donut. Topped with a hardened maple-flavored glaze and overcooked bacon. But for whatever reason Farkers apparently think that's the epitome of breakfast food.

Donut Plant in NYC was the best I've ever had.
My town of Atlanta's Sublime Donuts paled in comparison.
Krispy Kremes are kinda gross. Donuts shouldn't be slimy.

When you see this sign lit up, it means a sugar rush is imminent.

Any other time, their doughnuts are inedible. But fresh out of the ovens, hot damn!
