With how well things have gone on this road trip, I'm almost worried to see what happens when we get back to Cleveland.

GO TRIBE!

"How much of a lead do the Red Sox need to win a ballgame?"

Apparently 30 runs, given last night.

Go Bobby and Fox sucks, they missed 5 of the runs.

I clearly chose the wrong day to go to Safeco this weekend. Oh well, it's going to be a great day for an afternoon game. Go Sox! Sweep!

/m's will likely win because I am going to be there. Bet on it.

Yeah curse those assholes for going to a perfect game in what was at the time a blowout. Those stupid cocks.

Even though this is an ESPN Sunday Night Game, the Red Sox may luck out and get a rainout, there's supposed to be rainstorms in Boston tonight. They really need not to play this game. The backlash I've read online is blaming everyone for the current state of the Sox: Valentine, Theo Epstein, the bullpen, the poor farm teams/lack of good prospects in past years, ownership...

I'd be pretty happy with a split against Texas.

I hate Bobby Valentine, but I think he's probably last on the list of blame for yesterday's game.

I should add, though, that you don't often see IBBs with nobody out, and he did it twice yesterday.

That isn't the problem. Lots of guys in the farm system which are being called up, along with trades in the works for over the hill players.

Ryan Braun is getting his MVP award today. I wonder if they've glued an asterisk to it.

Will the Mariners find a way on base?

They will when I play MLB 12: The Show later.

2012-04-22 02:18:36 PM
1. Ryan Howard and Chase Utley both indefinitely out with no timetable for recovery/return.

2. Cliff Lee will miss two to three starts with oblique strain.

3. Chooch Ruiz injured his wrist the other night.

4. The once fearsome Philly lineup is listless and punchless, incapable of producing more than a few runs per game.

5. Set up guys seem to specialize in setting up the opposing teams with winning runs.

Good things are that it's early and nobody in the NL East looks like they're interested in running away with it.

Jesus, as a Boston sports fan, there is no way I can win today. The Bruins can tie it back up, and no win today could restore hope for the Sox.
