Makdessi missed weight, and he's small for 155. That shows he's being lazy, and that his head isn't in it. I had Njokuani beating Barbosa, so he can probably handle the striking of the smaller Makdessi as well.

I think he was feeling it on his way out of the ring. If he was covering it up until the decision that's one touch SOB.

Nice Repo Man screen name.

I thought about changing my pick after he missed weight, but ultimately let it stand.

Figured I'd also change my main event pick to Jones, but I want to go with Rashad even though I think Jones will probably win.

John Makdessi vs Anthony Njokuani

Intro Notes yeah, there's no way I'm typing Makdessi and Njokuani each and every sentence. I'll be calling MAkdessi as Mak and Njokuani as kuani.

TotT has Kuani with two inches in height and 7.5 in reach Mak didn't make weight as well.

Round 1

Kuani tries a leg kick that misses and they exchange another leg kick. Kuani kicks to the head, blocked. Mak stalking Kuani. They exchange kick attempts that miss and Kuani has another kick blocked. Kuani kicks to the leg, gances. Mak shows a head kick that is missed. Lots of kicks, nothing connecting so far. Kuani scores with a leg kick. They continue the kick exchange with little connecting from either. With connections its about 3-0 to Kuani so far. Kuani tries a head kick that is blocked. Mak follows that with a leg kick and Kuani returns in kind.Kuani is the first to try some punches, moving forward with a couple and finishing witha kick. Mak counters with a punch as Kuani tries to kick. \kuanoi gets a good counter punch in that staggers Mak a little . Kuani tries to capitalize but Mak recovers well. Kuani cols down and they continue to exchange single shots that each continue to block and glance. They circle and Kuani tries a kick to the body and then to the head. Mak tries a couple of side kicks, both blocked. Kuani tries a couple of punch combinations, scoring a couple inbetween. Mak finally scores one of his own that trips up Kuani. They continue to exchange shots as the round closes.

Flip a coin. They both got one good shot and went back and forth. I'll say Kuiani for first blood.

After his first couple fights in the UFC, I became a fan of his. But his grappling is garbage, and he needs to go to 45. Neither of those is being improved upon, so his future is bleak.

Hmm... this thing has rankings and points for how/when/etc? Cool. I'll have to learn the point system and take it more seriously/give it more time next go-'round.

John Makdessi vs Anthony Njokuani

Round 2

Mak is the one moving forward. They go back to the kicks, both missing. Mak looks for the head with his next kick, blocked. Kuani puts out a front kick that misses. He feints a couple of punches. Mak trises a side kick tot he body and Kuani tries body kick of his own that is countered. Kuani fires a kick at the leg then eats a spinning back kick to the body. Kuani comes back with a good punch kick combo. They exchange a couple of shots and kicks. Mak flurries off a couple of punches and Kuani tries to keep up. They continue to put out kicks, mak looking a little better. Mak puts out what looks like a Capoeira looking kick with his hand placement. Looked nice but well missed. The two continue to kick and punch. Mak mixing the kicks up but its all flash and no connection with the flashy stuff. Mak gets a good couple of punches to ocnnect before having a body kick caught. and Kuani moving forward to capitalize. Kuani trips him down but doens't connect with any striking as Mak stumbles. They reset and continue to exchange shots to the end of the round

Mak 10/9. Mak threw just alittle more volume in my opinion

You get points for picking the winner, how he wins, and what round (or picking a decision win correctly). Getting all three right gets you extra points as well.

I save my displeasure for fighters being jerks, rather than booing because I'm not a fan of a fighter's style.

Landed about a dozen roundhouse kicks alone.

Really want to see him win because he's one of the better kickers i've seen in the UFC, but with the judges this could really go either way.

Coming up four decisions in a row, they are probably getting restless and waiting for a fighter's head to fly into the stands.

John Makdessi vs Anthony Njokuani

Round 3

Mak takes the center to start the round. He's showing fenits before Kuani kicks him in the leg. Mak tries a kick of his own and eats a couple of punches on the followup. Kuani puts out a body kick and Mak comes back with a ahead kick and leg kick in response. Kuana puts out a combo and a couple of good kicks to the body and head after a falshy jump kick misses from Mak. Mak is still the one stalking though. Kuani tries a punch combination that's mostly blocked. Mak fires back wtiha spinning back kick that connects. Kuni returns the favor witha good couple of kicks. Kuani dodges the spinning back kick and fires off a body kick that connects. Mak returns with a good leg kick. Kuani puts a jab out and follows with a leg and body kick. Kunai continues to tag Mak with the jab as he circles away. Mak gets a side kick into the leg and fires off a couple more punches to finish the round.

It being so even in the striking, you have to give forward movement to Mak 10/9 I have it 29/28 but this fight is anyone's with the way judging started off in the facebook fights.

Judges score it unanimous for Njokuani

Travis Browne vs Stephen Thompson

TOTT has Brown with an inch in reach.

Round 1

Stephen starts things off with kicks, looking or another highlight reel possibly. Brown switches things up and gets it to the ground quickly after a couple of exchanges looking to stack Thompson and score some long punches. Brown doing a good job contorling the legs until Thompson is able to move just right. Thompson tries to scramble to the feet but Brown grabs an ankle befor ehe gets away. thompson scrambles again and gets to the feet winding up in the clinch with his back tot he cage. Brown gets a good knee in as he initiates the clinch. Thompson turns Brown and looks for a kene to the body as brown tries to drag him back to the ground. He misses with the back trip and switches to the front trip getting it down fo r amoment. Brown retains the back control though and drags it down before Thompson rulls with it and they're back on the feet. Brown drags him down one more time, only able to retain one hook as Thompson stays on his knees. Brown shows a calf cutter and Thompson has to fend it off. Brown eventually lets it go to keep top positions and scores a couple more ground shots to close

109 brown for all the ground work

Travis Browne vs Stephen Thompson

Round 2

Brown goes quickly back to the takedowns, looking for a single leg with Thompson agains thte cage. Brown puts out a jab and drives in for a double leg. He has it down but not completed. Thompson works his way to the cage and wallk walks. Brown still has the body lock, looking to bring it back down. He throw s agood knee to the leg before Thompson pushes his head away to break the clinch. Thompson puts otu a good leg kick, misses with the head kick and follows with aflurry of punches that has Brown tired and running. Thompson looking to connect with more. Brown weathers it and moreves forward with a couple of his own. Thompson has a punch ducks and Brown lazily goes for a single that Thompson easily pulls out of. Thompson has a head kick blocked butcontinues to put puncehs down on Brown. Thompson stumbles on his next and Brown moves in to get into guard for a break. He scores a couple of ground shtos before passing to half guard. Thompson tries to put him back in to guard but can't. Brown continues a few more shots before getting back in to full guard. Brown stacks Thompson and scores some heavy ground and pound that busts thompson open. Brown puts a few more shots down and the round closes.

It should be 10/9 thompson with the majority of the round being striking and him winning that aspect but Brown could easily have stolen it at the end with the cut.
