When does the movie come out?

Who plays who?

Cue Nancy Grace outrage..

2012-04-20 11:31:22 AM
That's actually attainable... lucky for him he was able to not be arrested right away so he could solicit donations.

2012-04-20 11:31:24 AM
I'd be more worried about him committing suicide than fleeing justice.

Rob Lowe to play Zimmerman and that kid from Role Models and the PSP commercials to play Trayvon. Book it. Done.

Carlos Mencia as Zimmerman, and the ghost of 18 year old Gary Coleman as Trayvon.

Wow, the prosecution has nothing.

D = Defense / P = Prosecution

D - Do you have any evidence that supports who started the fight? P - No

D - Do you have any evidence in your investigation to date that contradicts or conflicts with his (Zimmerman's) contention that he...
Turned back to his car - P - No
That Martin assaulted first - P - No

P - The shooting was in close proximity. Powder burns were on the sweatshirt. Stippling on Martin to indicate close proximity.

D - Is the evidence inconsistent with Zimmerman saying his head was being hit on the ground? P - No

D - What are the injuries? P - Two lacerations to the back of his head.

D - Could it have been from his head hitting the ground? P - Yes

D - Have you asked Zimmerman for medical records showing that his nose was broken? P - No. D - Would you like a copy of them? P - *stunned look* BWAHAHAHAHA

The Prosecution's investigator comes across as a pompous ass, too, so that won't help them with the jury. He got easily frustrated and flustered when they called him on his use of "confrontation" with nothing to back it up.

Where did subby find those prices for Skittles and Arizona Ice Tea?

2012-04-20 11:32:49 AM
He'll have to shoot a lot of unarmed black guys to get enough money for bail.

2012-04-20 11:33:27 AM
It is reasonable that he was granted bail; he didn't flee when he was completely free to and the money is enough to keep his easily-recognized face local. Bail isn't a punishment.

Anyone see the "graphic" image of his head wound from the night he killed Trayvon Martin? My kids get worse wounds from stumbling on the sidewalk... but it is yet another layer to the story being best judged in a formal trial.

Zimmerman has a wife - I did not know this... just read it in another article.

AverageAmericanGuy: I'd be more worried about him committing suicide than fleeing justice.

You think the guy who goes around his neighborhood playing god cop is going to off himself? I wish I lived in your fantasy world

2012-04-20 11:34:30 AM
Also, remember, he only has to pay or put up property worth %10 of the amount. His parents already said they would put up their house. Surely it's worth $15,000.

2012-04-20 11:35:01 AM

Viljo Tawast: Where did subby find those prices for Skittles and Arizona Ice Tea?

I think he buys Skittles in the "fun size" package.

2012-04-20 11:35:04 AM
Remember one thing, no matter whose side you're on: if George Zimmerman hadn't shown up, no laws would have been broken, no one would be dead, and George would just be another, anonymous busybody.

2012-04-20 11:35:20 AM

GGracie: Zimmerman has a wife - I did not know this... just read it in another article.

I hear he recently quit beating her.

2012-04-20 11:35:25 AM

Viljo Tawast: Where did subby find those prices for Skittles and Arizona Ice Tea?

AZ Iced tea is 99 cents, skittles are about 85 cents. Tax makes it around $2. So 75,000 x $2 = $150.000. Give 'er take.

That's absolutely true. None of this had to happen. I won't defend Zimmerman one bit, but the law would appear to be on his side here.

2012-04-20 11:36:25 AM
This is the first time that I can recall anyone mentioning that Zimmerman is married. Have I just not been noticing that?

Unfortunately, it's probably his best option.

This incident won't look good on his CV.

Loaf's Tray: Is that 75,000 of each, or 75,000 total?

Viljo Tawast: Where did subby find those prices for Skittles and Arizona Ice Tea?

AZ Iced Tea - 99 cents. Skittles - 85 cents (or so). Plus tax. $2. So 75,000 of both the tea and the skittles.

Well, obviously I'm a racist.

I think this would be a great opportunity for us to discuss the specifics of the case and agree on what really happened here.

OK, so multiple witnesses have reported that they witnessed Trayvon Martin walking around like a THUG listening to rap music that goes "grab jab baby wannna stick it in ya!!" on multiple occasions.

Meanwhile, the brave Neighborhood Watch Commando George Zimmerman was making his usual rounds to protect the neighborhood from trouble and THUGS when he was brutally attacked by this savage and had no choice but to dispatch this THUG with extreme prejudice.

Now I know many of you disagree, but suppose for a second that your house was ransacked by THUGS, your family was tied up in the basement, with socks in their mouths! You try to open the door, but there's too much blood on the knob!!

Huh, huh? What then?

Alright, I'm glad we could all agree that I'm right. Case closed.

When the 911 dispatcher tells you not to chase somebody down in an act of vigilante justice and you do it anyway, you're not reducing crime.

Erroneus.

If a rape victim had stayed home, no rape wouldv'e occurred.

If a bank didn't have money in it, it wouldn't get robbed.

Ect

The little punk had no right to lay hands on Zimmerman regardless of being followed. For all the anti-right to defend folks, if the punk had simply ran away, this wouldn't have happened.

I'm really curious how much money he raised with his donation web page. There's a lot of crazy out there that would give a few bucks, that times a few thousand could add up.

And don't be out walking back from a 7-11 if you happen to be darker than, say, burnt sienna, if it is a half hour after sunset and Georgie the Mall Cop Reject is on patrol.

I'm not saying Trayvon made the right moves either, we still don't know for a fact how the altercation started. Zimmerman started this whole thing by being an over zealous wanna-be cop. The law may be on his side, but I'm fairly convinced he's a dick.

Concerned? He has given all indications he is a wannabe cop who likes running around with his gun like some kind of jerk on ice. He was looking for a confrontation and found one.
