Wow...color me not surprised that someone finally has common sense. Smoking weed doesn't make you some unemployable loser. Being an unemployable loser makes you an unemployable loser.

I agree, but it's 4/20, let them have their day.

Sadly they might be able to snag both Jenkins and Adams and they'd be upgrades over Backus and the corpses they had at corner last year.

Football is a pain inducing sport. Society needs to ease up on the marijuana hating.

I'd rather players take hits from a bong than become oxycontin pill poppers like Brett Favre.

If the NFL required players to have never smoked pot in order to play, the talent level would be somewhat below intramural flag football at any university.

Right before the draft, Calvin Johnson admitted to having smoked marijuana. I think that worked out for them okay.

I think most GMs began to change their opinion of pot use by draft picks when Randy Moss dropped to the Vikings and quickly began his demolition of NFL defenses. When you're afraid of an outstanding offensive player like that because he smoked a joint or two, you tend to look stupid.

/that said, RM had off the field issues that were non-pot related
//but they really didn't start until 4 or 5 years into his career

Megatron could come out and says he eats crack rocks for breakfast, he'd still start, and be the number 1 receiver on any team in the league.

FTFA: All three directed negative publicity to the organization and raised questions about drug use in Detroit's locker room.

Really? Like they were lighting up joints during their pre-game prep? How does somebody calling themselves a journalist, a profession that is SUPPOSED to understand the meaning of words and context, compose a sentence like that?

/Now, if we are talking '90s era Dallas Cowboys, you might be able to make the case for rampant drug use in the locker room.

I'm pretty sure the headline was more a shot at the Lions, who have already had 3 players test positive this year. Note the "obvious" tag.

i'd never put megatron at WR. He's a sure shot at QB with that cannon-like arm.

Tell me about it. I live in Colorado. There are huge smoke-outs in each city. There's a Cypress Hill concert later tonight. It's all durr durr here on 4/20.

/legalize it
//get rid of the morons smoking on the sidewalk in front of me on on my way to work
///make them go to a "bar:" for that shiat or something
