What is this "Oregon" you speak of? I only know of Phil Knight University.

College kids/athletes smoking weed is kind of a non-story anywhere. In Oregon? It's the non-storiest story there could be.

From the article: "NEWS FLASH: COLLEGE kids smoke weed."

Correction: "NEWS FLASH: A LOT of people smoke weed."

all of their players have all of that disposable income. what do you expect them to do with it?

The air in Eugene is like 20% weed. Plus headline had so much potential. AND we have a weed article with no mention of it being 4/20.

/tsk tsk subby
//more balls dropped than Wisconsin had at the rose bowl

Guess they are typically more focused on weed than getting embarrassed in nationally televised games.

Yup. Winning the rose bowl is totally embarrassing. Boy I'm sure their faces are red.

Subby doesn't inhale.

Any story involving Eugene and Weed is redundant here in Orygun. This is like pointing out that water is wet, it gets dark at night...etc. Also, the Duck football team has won 34 games in 3 years. Weed is not a performance enhancer on the football field. Methinks the story is not as fabulous as reported.

/Entire Duck squad being tested in 3,2,1...

34-6 in the last 3 years. Last win was in the Rose Bowl just a few short months ago... Now you can mention the accolades of your team... Mkay, go... Unless you were, ya know, trolling.

... and even in the year before, falling just short in a very competitive national championship game is hardly my idea of "getting embarrassed."

/still, fark the Ducks

Shocked, I am, that college kids smoke the weed. More shocked, I am, that Oregon college students some the weed. Especially considering some of the best stuff is grown there.

Come on ESPN, report on some actual stories. Like getting more pictures of Petrino's girlfriend. You know, stuff we give a fark about.

There's a reason turkey oven bags are sold in bulk in Humboldt County, and it ain't because Thanksgiving is celebrated year round.

I guess this means the SEC is the worst conference in college football.

Nope. Oregon law doesn't even allow random testing; probable cause is needed. So if student-athletes don't miss any classes and don't act stoned in practice or during games, then they can't be tested.
