Contrary to your debunked map they didn't "own" the green land in 1946.

They expected them to accept it because of the constant conflict between jews and Arabs in the area and that plan would allow most groups to stay where they lived.

They figured the Arabs living there would be smart enough to realize they would profit much more from being trading partners than declaring war just because the other groups was Jewish. Too bad they were wrong.

Wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run just to buy out a crappy state like Nebraska, then transplant all the residents of israel there? Make it like an indian reservation except with jews.
