TwoHead: Should we also be outraged that in Obama's White House apples are not oranges?

I think the outrage is because they're watermelons.

Soooo.... they compared the median salary of all women to the median salary of all men and then declared that this proves pay inequality?

Again I am absolutely awestruck at the GOP's ability to make it impossible to determine when they're lying versus when they're just being incredibly stupid....

weave: Equal pay laws look at people doing the same job. This "Beacon" thing just did an average across all jobs. Is the pay different across similar jobs and responsibilities? Also, the more important question is, are females being barred from applying and qualifying for higher paying jobs?

But considering the audience for Breitbart, I suppose they had to dumb it all down to a simple soundbite that people could be outraged about.

Barack Obama refused to let this woman be president.

Today's GOP stance: Equal pay for women and higher salaries for government jobs!

PsiChick: Well, this is a good talking point. Everyone knows that when you're doing something phenomenally stupid, the answer is to say "b..b...but...HE ALMOST DOES IT! In a way that's not even slightly important compared to losing your basic human rights! But ALMOST!".

And it's even better when you do it by being a factual idiot in the first place.

This is how far the GOP has to sink these days. This is all they have.

"Please vote for us. The Democrats are close to being as awful as us, so really, why not give us another chance?"

mod3072: Does that mean that when Sarah Palin gets elected in November, we can pay her less than we're paying Obama?

Fox pays her less than O'Reilly so I don't see any reason why not.

Look, if we can pay women a lot less, perhaps make them an exception to minimum wage laws, we wont need Mexicans.

I envision a time where if you need your house cleaned or food cooked, you can just drive over to Bed Bath and Beyond and pick up a couple broads waiting there.

Look at Major League Baseball, for example. The median pay for men that work for the Atlanta Braves is more than a million dollars. However, the median pay for women that work for the Atlanta Braves is probably 56,000 or something.

That's just plain ridiculous.

Citrate1007: So it was the democrats that passed forced vaginal probes and lobbied against contraception? Well I never would have guessed, must be that liberal media trying to confuse me again.

Don't forget Jane Fonda and Barbra Streisand calling that Georgetown law student a slut and a prostitute.

Yeah, because how hard you work always determines how much you're paid.

I, too, am in favor of generous paternity leave. Glad we're on the same page!

Yeah, you need to be home to keep an eye on the jar your balls are kept in :p

(Psst, I don't have balls, I'm a woman.)
