Nugent - "Dead or in Jail."

That's an endorsement for Obama. He's just giving people reasons to vote for him.

It's like a free for all. He may think he has the Dems in a stranglehold, the SS be Stormtroopin', yo. Some of the GOP may believe that's just what the doctor ordered but the writin is on the wall for that fist fightin' son of gun.

Ted Nugent saying crazy shiat. You don't say.

hey everyone, here's an interesting question I read in an online quiz recently:

Q: What pants-crapping draft dodger became the legal guardian of an underage girl so he could have sex with her whenever he wanted?

I was pretty stumped, so I thought I would post it here to see if any Farkers know. Sorry if it's off topic

Cyclonic Cooking Action: I also don't understand why if he is a known troll/alt that his accounts aren't locked?

That's because "troll alt" is a term made up by scaredy dims. They can't face the fact that 0barry is a failure as a president and human being, so they slur us conservative posters to marginalize us. The moderators know they can't ban honest, hard working for simply presenting a point of view no matter how shocking the truth may be to some ivory tower elitists.

mongbiohazard: I know you're one of those folks with a "faith based" approach to facts (in other words, you only believe the things which are consistent with your pre-formed opinions) but the Secret Service is not only completely capable of making those calls themselves... they DO make those calls themselves. They don't actually consult the president about threats to his life. They inform him when they believe it's appropriate, but handle all the actual investigation themselves.

I like imagining the conversation Obama might have had with the Secret Service about this.

"Who's making threats on my life? Ted Nugent? The singer? Then who's Al Quaida's number two? Jerry Lewis?"

You know, it's a funny thing - when skookum was exposed as whidbey's alt, he quit using the skookum account within a few days. elchip/SkinnyHead, on the other hand, appears to have stopped using the elchip account. It's like he's doing a Super Dave Osborne - devoting his entire life to the portrayal of this one character.

I know! The Romney camp accepted his endorsement, crowed about it with the following statements:

"It's been fun getting to know Ted Nugent."
- Mitt Romney

"Ted Nugent endorsed my Dad today. Ted Nugent? How cool is that?! He joins Kid Rock as great Detroit musicians on team Mitt!"
- Tagg Romney

and now all of sudden, the Obama administration is trying to tie Nugent together with Romney! That's so petty. They clearly have had no communication whatsoever, the endorsement was completely unsolicited and unwanted. So, so petty.

JesusJuice: SkinnyHead: The Democratic National Committee and Obama campaign have launched a multimedia offensive against Romney over Nugent,

The Secret Service shouldn't be involved in that. Isn't the Secret Service supposed to be non-partisan?

How is investigating a threat partisan?

Because there was no threat to investigate in the first place. The DNC and Obama campaign have launched a partisan offensive to try to portray what Nugent said as a threat so they can tar Romney with it. By making a public announcement that they are investigating Nugent (for something that is clearly not a threat), the Secret Service has abandoned the appearance of impartiality and has joined forces with the Obama campaign.

Silly Jesus: Most people seem to be annoyed by the blatant trolling of SkinngHead, but I think that it's often hilarious. I L out loud at his posts more often than not. They are usually pretty subtle with one hidden clue that they aren't serious. The GED in Law was a perfect example, yet people still took the bait and responded, as they are doing in this thread.

You guys will all disagree with me, but I think that the guy is a trolling genius. People that clearly know he is a troll get so annoyed that they end up posting serious responses anyway. I've never seen anything like it before.

WhoIsWillo: SkinnyHead: I watched the video of Nugent's speech. I didn't hear any true threats to the "President's life."

Well, he said if Barack Obama was elected, Nugent would either be in jail or dead. That statement, without clarification (which he did not offer) was that he would take some sort of action against the President. Like it or not, a reasonable person could read the statement that way. So the Secret Service investigates that threat. Barack Obama could specifically order the Secret Service not to investigate the threat, and they still would. It's protocol. Any threat, veiled, implied or direct is investigated.

That statement cannot be viewed as a true threat because it was (1) conditioned on a future event, (2) predictive rather than threatening, and (3) too vague to be treated as a true threat against anyone.
