I like Biden. He's a funny, sometimes confused, kindly old man, not a blackhearted, evil sack of shiat like Cheney.

Just curious, did any right-leaning sites post any of the BLP videos on the GOP? I don't recall any, but I also don't read them other than when I'm suckered into their links on here.

Dude, regardless you need to just turn off your mind and laugh at the senseless crap that is "bad lip reading" if for no other reason then it shows Biden in an funny and goofy light that is different then his usual stuck-up-edness :D

Uhh, what? He is one of the leading dipshiats that was behind the whole Napster situation in the late 90s, and sponsored a lot of legislation similar to PIPA/SOPA. The guy is a piece of shiat.

Napster didn't lead to an unnecessary war, loss of our international status, loss of lives, loss of money and loss of security.

I don't care if you like Biden or not. But let's have some perspective here.

Not that I disbelieve you, but a quick google doesn't bring up anything substantial on this connection.

Oddly, one of the few near hits was a forum post on MLB.com from two days ago:
"He was behind the whole Napster thing in the late 90s, and sponsored quite a few bills similar to SOPA/PIPA because the MPAA and RIAA gave him quite a bit of money."

Call me crazy, but perhaps you should direct your rage at something a bit meatier in that respect. Like the Patriot Act.

And before you go there, yes, it does piss me off to no end that Obama keeps rubberstamping its renewal.

But as I said earlier -- perspective. Popular outrage was sufficient to stall SOPA in its tracks. Try organizing a protest against the Patriot Act and let me know how it goes.

I would argue that shiat doesn't get done because we're incapable of assessing importance and setting priorities. And it's not "something else". The Patriot Act speaks more directly and impactfully to our civil and privacy rights.

No apples and oranges. Not yours.
