You know, this actually is possible, for once.

Oh my poor wallet.

Sept. 18 - Borderlands 2
Oct. 16 - Bioshock Infinite
Oct. 23 - GTA V (speculation)
Oct. 30 - Assassin's Creed 3
Nov. 6 - Halo 4

I only care about Assassin's Creed 3. Even that though, I'm going to wait a bit cause the last one was dildos.

Darksiders 2 for me. Absolutely loved the first one. Like God of War and Zelda had a lovechild and his name was War. The next one follows his brother, Death.

My thoughts exactly. Come on, Microsoft. Be cool.

This actually kind of could be an issue. Most teens and early twenties I know would much much much rather play video games than wait in line to vote.

I'm glad I don't really play any of those because I don't have time to play video games anymore.

I wanna know how many write-ins there will be for Master Chief. Every election year there's a couple hundred thousand for Michael Jordan and other celebrities. I think MC might have a chance of beating the usual ones.

Playing video games is like meditation for me. I just shut my brain off for a couple of hours and murder Renaissance era templars. It's really relaxing.

This reminds me of the time that Matlock marathon ran for election day 2006.

I have vote-by-mail in my state, but even if I didn't, I'd still go to the polls in lieu of Halo. Why? Because I'm not an asshole.

Maybe - but if you value your time playing video games over voting, you probably would find any excuse not to vote.

I don't know if it counts as a spoiler, but between butthurt PC gamers whining about console FPS and Obama in the headline bringing in the Politics tabs trolls, but this thread is headed for a level of derp even Master Chief would be afraid to fight.

Actually, I'm on PS3, so no Halo 4 for me. And I'll have voted a few days prior. Vote by mail FTW!

The only way Obama will get reelected is if people who would let a video game release keep them from voting go and vote instead?
I'm ok with our leader being chosen by a more mature audience.

Yeah, seriously. I order all of my games, and food, online, mainly due to the combination of having trouble with the long uphill walk to my car, and an aversion to the look of judgemental pity and disgust I'm faced with every time I manage to waddle my pallid corpulence into a store. I much prefer having things dropped off at my door so I can safely grab it after dark, when the risk of real social interaction is minimal.

If you're the kind of person that's going not going to vote because Halo 4 comes out, you're probably not the kind of person that votes in the first place.

I'm fine with the college Republicans from Phi Delta staying home to play Halo, brah.

I don't think Angry Birds makes itself out to be anything more than what it is.

Halo, on the other hand, is constantly having its knob slobbed when it is a pretty mediocre FPS.

/but that's just my very unpopular opinion

2012-04-17 02:39:16 PM
So all the people who think that the highest level of discourse is "your mom" jokes will be playing Halo 4 instead of voting?

2012-04-17 02:39:36 PM
Yeah... actually this is bad news for Obama, because the type of people who would line up on the first day to get that game, and feel a need to just play it for the next 48 hours rather than to go vote are definitely not the type of people who wold vote Romney.

Pre-ordered on Steam and ready to go. Darksiders was f*cking outstanding, and if Darksiders II is anywhere near as good, I'll be a happy camper. :D

Education. Uneducated people always rail against things they don't understand. So, I'll say its because of your education.

Amazon Prime for president!

Ordered MLB The Show 2012 at 8 something in the morning on a Sunday. It was on my doorstep less than 12 hours later. I still don't know how that happened.
