JerseyTim: That's pretty hard to do after he burned it.

My favorite part of that image is that, in the "artist"'s mind, Obama apparently really feels the need to point to the fire. Like the huge yellow/orange flames don't draw attention enough, he's gotta be all "Look what I did! It's on fire!!"

Nugent was more direct. "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year,

Did he immediately afterwards shout "WOLVERINES!!!!" and masturbate furiously?

The funny thing is, I'd bet dollars to donuts that if the Secret Service actually paid ol' Ted a visit, he'd cower and beg like the spineless loud-mouth draft-dodging farkstick that he is, rather than actually try to go Ruby Ridge on everyone.

1. Birth certificarte - Secret Muslim Kenyan Usurper

2. Obamacare - Death Panels

3. Drone strike in Yemen - Only the president we like can violate the due process of citizens

4. Libya intervention - Winning wars is supposed to be our thing

1. Birth certificarte

- these people actually believe that Obama wasn't born in the US. If that was true, his being President might violate the Constitution.

2. Obamacare - it is up to the Supreme Curt whether or not "Obamacare" is Constitutional.

3. Drone strike in Yemen. - Obama killed a US citizen arguably without due process.

4. Libya intervention - Obama intervened in Yemen arguably without Congress approval.

I think Nugent and his ilk are crazy racists, but at the same time, one could make almost reasonable arguments as to Obama violating the Constitution.

Obamacare may exceed the limits of the commerce clause, but the Supreme "corporations are people" Court hasn't ruled on it yet.

Ask all the government whistleblowers the Obama administration has prosecuted what they think about Obama's dedication to the Constitution.

Nugent is right, but for very much the wrong reasons.

At least post "Citizens United" we know the court is acting in the best interest of the oligarchy. Before that, we had to speculate.

Please. He'd smile, shake hands, offer them a tour around his killing field, have a barbeque featuring some endangered species or another ("What? Who doesn't like rhino back ribs?") and then later claim that the Secret Service folks, well, they love him and love America. He'd then go off on some half-baked tirade on how they confided in him that, just because they work for the Oval Office, doesn't mean they like the half-black Kenyan secret Muslim socialist usurper sitting in it.

Should have invested better, kiddo.

He was always a little straightedge nerdy sh*t. Somewhere out there are hilarious stories about how the MC5 used to tease him for being a little runty prude back in the day. Sometimes just being a decent guitar player doesn't cut it in the big picture.

From the huff post:
Rocker Ted Nugent has reportedly earned himself the scrutiny of the Secret Service after saying over the weekend that he would be "dead or in jail by this time next year" if President Barack Obama is re-elected.
Nugent made the comments during an interview at the National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis, comparing Obama and his administration to "coyotes" that needed to be shot and encouraging voters to "chop [Democrats'] heads off in November."

2012-04-17 06:43:35 PM
Someone needs to start a "Ted Nugent Dead or in Jail Clock".

2012-04-17 06:45:57 PM
Nugent was more direct. "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year," he said.

Finally! A campaign promise we can all get behind. This is an outstanding victory for the American people. Not only does Obama get a second term, but this time next year we'll be rid of Nugent, one way or the other. I am excited to see this happen and will be joining the media campaign to remind him of this important promise next year.

2012-04-17 06:46:36 PM

Le Bomb Suprize: degenerate-afro: I like that White House's response. "Ted who? Why should we care about what he says again?"

That's about all the response he deserves. He is a personal friend of Sean Hannity however, so Hannity's ratings should be pretty good tonight.

In the interests of fair and balanced I'll be looking for Hannity to spend as much time demanding Romney defend or repudiate Nugent's words as he did the White House after Obama invited Common.

or, Hannity will explain that Nugent is using humor and metaphors whereas Common actually wanted people to kill police.

or, Hannity will completely blow it off as Ted being Ted, he's a good friend, he doesn't really mean what he says, he just gets fired up and is a true Patriot.

Regardless, it will be some version of "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A VIOLENT CONSERVATIVE. ONLY LIBERALS, THOSE VILE SUBHUMAN PILES OF GARBAGE, EVER COMMIT ACTS OF VIOLENCE".

Well, he's been dead for 15 years or so. I imagine he'd need a couple of days to catch up before opining.

If you mean Phil Lynott, he's been dead for decades. Sorry.

I just pulled "15 years or so" out of my ass, without thinking about it, but I was taken aback by your claim that he's been dead for "decades," so I looked it up. Turns out, you're right - it's been 26 years. God, I'm old.

I didn't know he was a draft dodger. I remember him being interviewed one time saying you could drop him almost anywhere in the world naked, and he would survive. I'd love to see some footage of some random person calling him out about being a dd.
