All I know is that we're one step closer to having a card game with Sir Issac Newton, Albert Einstein, etc.

Hatsune Miku was the first step.
Tupac took it a step further.
Think of the possibilities.

Dio could go on tour again.

Tupac's autospy photo (nsfw graphic)

I've seen about 30 autopsies and assisted on a few. Two things that looks off:
1) where they cut into the cranium is usually higher up on the head. Making incisions that far posterior would make gaining access to the frontal part of the skull (to cut into with a bone saw) very difficult.
2) The Y incision on autopsies do not go nearly up that high on the shoulders. It could be that they cut that high up to retrieve bullets for forensic analysis but that's unlikely as the incisions go way the fark up on both shoulders.

Also, who was that saying "what's up Coachella?" The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival wasn't a thing until 1999. Tupac Shakur allegedly "died" in 1996.

Precisely. And do not neglect the equally important conspiratorial roles played by Sasquatch, the Atlantians, and Larry Flynt.

Hold on, good things never last
Nothings in the past
It always seems to come again
Again and again!

Just think, they could amp up the size and make him 50' tall!!!! Giant Dio beside a tiny Geezer and Tony!!

\would pay money to see this/

This is also how the 50-year-old Haunted Mansion ride at Disney works.

And it would be "volumetric" anyway. "Hologram" is one of those words that doesn't mean what you think it means.

You resurrect Tupac to be on stage with Snoop and Dre in Coachella California, and you perform Amerilkaz Most Wanted but no California Love?!? Who fugged that up?

I'm holding out hope for a Whitney Houston and Tupac Collaboration now

that was pretty cool actually...been out of the loop for a few days...first I've seen of it.

I think this is fantastic.

Now instead of letting a perfectly good rapper become a mockery, you can have him killed at peak freshness and preserved for all eternity!

We can use this to prevent future Kanye West's!!

My GOD THAT's FARKING BRILLIANT!!!! They could have solved that dumbass fashion trend in one glorious instant!

Have the voice actor say something like "I've seen the other side and it doesn't look like this!" Pulls his pants up and tightens the belt.

The software they used is a package called "Sim One". I've heard some great things about it.

Hatesune was the first thing I thought of when I saw this. There is also a universal studio's area when Christopher Walkin talks to the audience via a hologram.

I wanna see that Tupac hologram play with a Mozart hologram while a Lincoln hologram dances and a 100 foot Bruce Lee hologram could tower above. They could all play a seven hour jam version of "Imagine" while a hologram of the Titanic slowly sinks in the background.

I liked maybe 2 or 3 Pac songs (which is 2 or 3 more than the Biggie songs I like). In all honesty, all of the other songs Tupac did paint him as a shiatty, shiatty, scumfark human being that needed to be ushered off this planet. Not sure where this portrait of Tupac as a poetic genius came from. He COULD have been that, but he decided that racist gangbanger was the better way. Good riddance.

Probably from the poetry he wrote? You do realize he was an author, right?

So how long before a promotor decides that a dead celebrity needs to go on hologram tour? Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Elvis - there are plenty of dead cash cows to choose from.

Poet, sure. Author? Only in the loosest definition of the word.

So he was "the originator or creator of a work, especially of a literary composition" rather than "someone who writes books for a living", then?

There we go. And for what it's worth to Pooky: I don't hate the guy. I just think it's a shame he didn't do any real good in the world. He got rich, got in quite possibly the stupidest beef since the Hatfields and McCoys, then got killed. Over nothing. Over less than nothing. And as a matter of opinion, I never found his music to be all that impressive. You'll get over it.

I'm just going to make a guess here, but I would imagine it was a combination of his writing poetry and his appearing in "Poetic Justice".

The poetry of Tupac Shakur (new window)

Not that I'm Tupac's white knight, but you've got some factual discrepancies here. First, apart from the charity work he did while alive, were it not for his existence, the TASF would not exist. Whether you agree with their mission or not, I think it is pretty disingenuous to claim that it hasn't done ANY real good in the world. Additionally, his beef was over getting shot. I, personally, find that getting shot is a perfectly adequate reason for being angry. You may not feel that way, but please realize that your feelings are not normal. Most people are angry about being robbed and shot, especially when the perception is that a trusted associate set you up to be robbed and shot. The rest of what you said is debatable and therefore I won't challenge it.
