Give the guy some credit, he figured out how to be more plastic and gaudy than P. Diddy. That cannot be easy.

Well, he is a jackass, but I don't think its the President's job to say something like that.

Also, to be fair, if I was a rapper, i'd wear that as a badge of honor

Yeah, the Soviets are going to have a field day with this one.

Once again, Obama has made us look weak in the eyes of our enemies.

A politician calling you a jackass is a badge of honor or at least gives you some street cred. When the first black President who off'd OBL calls you a jackass, you lose street cred.

watch how much his aproval rating drops after he loses the supreme court case against his unconstitutional health care plan, and Iran attacks our ally Israel, forcing him to waddle reluctantly in to help.

He's not going to stand a chance.

You do realize he's made albums past college dropout, right? Like, the self conscious kid who put conscious rappers on tracks with mainstream rappers over soulful samples is gone, and now hes just you know, awful.

That pretty much sums up Kanye, I don't think the guy's going to argue. Though, why [Politics]? This is pretty clearly [Entertainment], it's not political and it's not even really trolling (which is the usual way non-political headlines get here).

I've always disliked the notion that there are people who are "above" others. He can comment on pop culture if he wants...or if he's asked.

I think Kanye would wear it as a badge of honor if Bush said it. But, he doesn't want the first Black president in history to think he's a jackass. Obama is a God-like figure in hip-hop. It would be cooler (better for Kanye's brand) for Obama to like him. Then again, this will be another reason to right a lyric about being misunderstood.

This is one of the few instances something they did publicly prevents me from appreciating anything else they do. I'm talking about the Taylor Swift thing not the Bush don't care thing,

I don't care for many entertainers personally, but like their work. But Kanye is one of the few that crossed that line in my head.

My friends, it's irresponsible of the President to attack yet another hard working job creator like Kanye West. And you have to wonder how he continue to drive for increased taxes on wealthy Americans while ignoring the fact that more than 50% of people pay no income taxes at all.

Or, as Kanye himself put it, "Now I ain't sayin he's a Gold digger, but he ain't messin with no broke nubianz"

You mean the amazing albums that are Late Registration, 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and Watch the Throne? Those are awful? Maybe I have different versions than you do.

And although I'm not a big fan of Graduation in general, "Homecoming" is one of my favorite Kanye songs. (I must confess that I like the original "Home" version better)

For something that happened at the MTV VMAs? Really? To each their own, I guess, but to let that get in the way of enjoying his music seems silly to me.

What's the next hard-hitting journalist going to ask when interviewing the prez?

"Mr. Obama, do you agree that Maruchan beef-flavored ramen is superior to all other brands and flavors?"

"Mr. President, do you buy Hallmark cards with messages or do you prefer to get the blank ones?"
