Damn filter.

Soup4Bonnie: Mark Hammill can take solace in the fact that he never starred in Six Days, Seven Nights with Anne Heche and that he never played a character that outlived a nuclear detonation in a refrigerator.

yeah but he did dress up as cock knocker in that horrible jay and silent bob piece of shiat, so I guess they are even.

/Hamill's voice work in the World War Z audio presentation is stellar.

People are still freaking out over the refrigerator? In a movie about ancient space aliens? Five years later?

Mark Hammill also looks like a zombie without makeup on. He's got some serious Steve Buscemi eyes going on, and that really only works if you're playing a psychopath.

Giltric: I heard years ago that Mark was the only one of the Star Wars actors whos contract got him a piece of the licensing fees and movie profits.

He actually gets one of every Star Wars toy they make. I guess he has quite a few storage units filled with them.

I hear that house has one hell of a fridge.

2012-04-16 02:38:50 PM
Are those interior pictures depicting how Mr. Ford has actually furnished his house?? (I mean, they could be props just for the shoot.) Because to me that just doesn't look like the way Harrison Ford would furnish a house. Nothing to make you go, Whoa, coool!
As someone noted, too much white, e.g., white dining room chairs mess up that space, I believe.

Outdoors, however, the pool and the views are quite nice.

Sex with Annie Potts? More like, Mrs. Potts. Amirite?

Shut your whore mouth. I would still bang Annie Potts back into the 80's just on principle. Especially if she wore those glasses from "Ghostbusters".

He did a pretty good "seriously eccentric closeted gay nerd" in "Comic Book the movie". Not creepy so much as painfully awkward. That movie was sort of his pinnacle of self-indulgence but I thought it was a lot of fun.

A motorcycle crash and reconstructive surgery will do that to you.

Celebrity Net Worth

Mark Hamill: $6 Million
Harrison Ford: $200 Million

Apparently doing voice over on cartoons doesn't pay near as much as starring in actual movies.

Mark's 6 Mil is probably well over 99.9% of farkers, so its not too shabby

Oldiron_79: Mark's 6 Mil is probably well over 99.9% of farkers, so its not too shabby

Hamill revealed in early interviews that he got 0.25% of Star Wars profits, which, barring accounting tricks, should have added up to about $1 million for just the first movie.

For a guy with "no career," he certainly gets an amazing amount of work.

IMDB Mark Hamill (new window)

Mugato: I'm obviously a huge Star Wars fan and huge Indiana Jones fan but I can't help but think if Tom Selleck would have been able to get out of his Magnum PI contract and do Raiders, there wouldn't be that big of a difference between Ford and Hamill's careers.

the franchise would (possibly) still be happening as Tom Selleck doesn't look as "old bag of shiat" as Ford does. (but thats a "what if fangasm" statement..which i normally despise...but in this case it's relevant.)

Selleck aged well, Ford didn't and Ford can't act.

Indiana Jones: Han Solo in the 30's. not a big stretch.

Mosquito Coast. great film. Decent acting on Ford's part.

Witness? great film. Decent acting on Ford's part.

Blade Runner? great film. Decent acting on Ford's part.

everything else:
Grumpy Old Man one note garbage : "get off my plane, leave my family alone" .

Dunno that not doing Raiders would have precluded his superstardom. Han Solo/Star Wars kinda set that path in stone, Raiders obviously added gasoline to that fire, but there were going to be more SW flicks so...lotta "What if's" in there...

I agree tho, Selleck would have been fine as Jones.

/Ford's done.
//So is Chevy

Were you being sarcastic? There are lots of voice actors who would kill to have his career. You take the hand life deals you and you make the best of it. Hard to know a successful career because he isn't Harrison Ford.

Who needs nerd rage? Anyone with a brain knows that any Batman cartoon without Mark Hamill as the joker is supremely disappointing.

/also, Kevin Conroy
//it's like Optimus Prime not being voiced by Peter Cullen
///or with a visible mouth

*sigh* too early

It's a goddamn shame he's retiring from voicing The Joker. Of course he may change his mind some day. He originally said Arkham Asylum was his last time doing the voice, but he came back for Arkham City.

/ although John Di Maggio does a pretty decent Joker
