Who needs nerd rage? Anyone with a brain knows that any Batman cartoon with Mark Hamill as the joker is supremely disappointing.

/also, Kevin Conroy
//it's like Optimus Prime not being voiced by Peter Cullen

Harrison Ford - Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Dr Richard Kimble, The President, Jack Ryan, the guy from Cowboys and Aliens,

Mark Hamill - Luke Skywalker, The Joker.

What a bizarre world we live in. Mark Hamill has no career, and Harrison Ford keeps getting great roles.

I'm obviously a huge Star Wars fan and huge Indiana Jones fan but I can't help but think if Tom Selleck would have been able to get out of his Magnum PI contract and do Raiders, there wouldn't be that big of a difference between Ford and Hamill's careers.

Pretty much THIS, Indiana Jones is pretty much what made Harrison Ford an A lister.

I'd argue Hamill has a better career than Harison Ford right now. Dude works constantly and lives in a million dollar home in the Hollywood Hills. Don't Cry For Me Naboo.

2012-04-16 12:21:14 PM
Wait... don't forget Mark Hamill's brilliant turn in the movie 'Slipstream'! I think his on-screen career was probably doomed because he got typecast as Luke. I mean, if you're going to be typecast, would you rather be the cool, daring rogue, or the whiny farmboy who gets a lucky shot?

Harrison Ford has been an old-school movie star since Indiana Jones. He plays Harrison Ford in every part he gets. So far, it's worked, so I'm not going to complain.

Hamill also has short-term memory issues based on the car accident he was in back in '77. It's one of the big reasons we went back to focusing his efforts on voice over work (much easier for him). It's more than paid off for him compared to the majority of the cast of those movies (with the exception of Harrison Ford, Ihe might have earned more as an actor than any of the other cast... including JEJ).

Regardless, good joke by subby.

I heard years ago that Mark was the only one of the Star Wars actors whos contract got him a piece of the licensing fees and movie profits.

He has done close to a hundred other animated voices. For example, he was the Fire Lord in the Avatar series.

Mark Hammill can take solace in the fact that he never starred in Six Days, Seven Nights with Anne Heche and that he never played a character that outlived a nuclear detonation in a refrigerator.

Carrie Fisher also has memory issues because of the electroshock therapy she receives to treat her depression. Coincidence?
