Um... how do you figure?

But America's military first doctrine doesn't leave a generation stunted from malnutrition of put generations of dissidents into concentration camps...

I predict that in about 20 years, Kim Jong-Un is going to look like an Asian Mr. Creosote. They're going to have to wheel him around on a dolly like Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs, because he's going to be too obese to walk.

Man, how many Koreans would still be alive if China were not such cowards? Better a million Koreans suffer under a dictatorship than have a West leaning country on their border.

I'd be more bothered by cutting off food aid if it wasn't so blatantly obvious that the food aid was going to the army and/or party elites.

For a near-enough vision of theTeabagger dream, NPRK state television is available online. Songs of praise to patriotism, military strength, industrial commitment and glorious leaders, all-happy all-singing entertainment, stopping down only for wholesome non-confrontational family dramas; change the ancestery and it would bounce Fox.

Isolating them is what we believe to be our best option, in hopes that the populace will force regime change. Also, their government is historically much harsher on citizens than ANY sanctions we may provide or have enforced. We're open to other ideas.

Would be nice to get some audio and have someone who speaks Korean go over it. I remember a few years back a Korean speaking Farker mentioned that one of Kim Jong-Il's speeches had some mistakes in it of the type that indicated Jong-Il spoke flawed Korean.

North Korean dialect is more archaic than South Korean.

No, no, no. Jong-Il's Korean is perfect. It's everyone else's that's flawed.

Hmmm. Kim Jong Il's voice had only been heard once by the people, at some stadium, and he only said something along the lines of hello or god be with us etc.. It was just a brief comment. It was super high pitched and comical. So, the guy never spoke in a public capacity.

When I read that I envisioned North Koreans suddenly using lingo from 50's America.

"You young whipper snappers don't know what hard work is...when I was your age we had to tramp a mile uphill in foot deep snows without any doggone shoes just to get a cord of wood. Kids today have it easy with their new fangled devices and doodads. If a rotary phone was good enough for me then it is good enough for you dagnabit!!!"

FTA "International condemnation of the rocket firing was swift, including the suspension of U.S. food aid, and there are worries that the North's next move could be an even more provocative nuclear test."

Cranking up the level on the old Provocameter, Kim Jong Un will announce that nuclear test will take place in Seoul.

Not sure how you think that is a troll. That is a fairly accurate paraphrase from the teabagger manifesto.

US military budget as percent of gdp: 4.8%

North Korea military budget as percent of gdp (estimated since no one truly knows): 24%

Your argument is invalid
