It's Kate circa 1996 - 22 years old and a nearly perfect body - no sag there.

I remember a time when the Daily Mail would have used that article as an excuse to show the boobs.

Oh, the time I've wasted on crap.

I happen to be in Beijing right now, so I've been actively taking data on what sites work and what sites result in the catch-all "network timeout" message. facebook, youtube - don't bother trying. AFAIK these worked for a while during the olympics, but they sure as hell don't work now.

I can look out my hotel window right now and see a building with "Google" written in big neon letters (in the same style as you'd expect) at the top. These local issues must make it hard for the google to do business but, heck, it's a big bulding, so probably they've got a plan in mind.

BTW fark.com is obviously perfectly acceptable to the authorities.

try searching freenet or taiwanese independence in google. Those two used to cut off your internet for a few minutes back around 2000.

this link is blocked where I am in China
but Macular Degenerate's link was not blocked for me.

clearly I am only trying these "NSFW" links towards the scientific aspect of understanding the local censorship rules by site.

clearly.

I tried these, and I just got the usual "server dropped the connection" message, but I don't lose my connection otherwise... progress? cheers

yup! Times are changing! Although I had accesses to Facebook and youtube until 2006 when I went back to the states. One step forward two steps back I guess.

Very good. And you don't have to sit through a ponderous, cliched, contrived although technically brilliant boring ass film.

So, China is saying its citizen's have no self control and will foolishly believe they can touch the images being projected on the big flat screen since they're being projected in 3D? I'll have to remember this the next time some Chinese government official starts bragging on his citizens.

My recommendation is Little Children. Plus, it is a really good movie overall, with a great cast.

They may try to grab and many of them will be disappointed when they find out its not there. With the price they want for 3d this scene should be paused and looped and zoomed for half hour and then skip to the credits

Don't you feel dirty recommending someone watch "Little Children" if they're looking for nudity in a movie?

I had known about that movie, but never watched it and didn't know there was any nudity in it. I kind of feel like I am slipping here since I try and keep up on those things for some reason that I am not sure of. :)

Not being able to watch it, or course. There was much ranting about it being the #1 movie in America 3 weeks running but they weren't able to see it, and how ridiculous that was.

I have a feeling that the real reason the government of Vietnam doesn't want to show the movie is that The Hunger Games is basically the story of young girl's rebellion against a totalitarian ruling regime blossoming into a full-fledged revolution. I just don't see that kind of story playing well with the governments in Vietnam or China.

Not enough to justify the torture of sitting through it.

Vietnam is weird about what they do or do not allow though. While I was living there they allowed Watchmen complete with the Vietnam war section and the bits about Vietnam being the 51st state, and only required editing for violence and blurring of big blue dong. And, as for the Hunger Games, the book is widely available, which is why all of my Vietnamese facebook friends were so pissed about not getting to see it. If it was the subversive message, I'd think they'd ban the books.

It's not that bad, honestly. Parts are interminable, but it's really quite enjoyable.
