She describes her book as a "simple" and "pleasant" story about a young girl.

I'd like o imagine that it's erotic fiction.

That is hilarious, I'm going to send this to my dad, who is blind, he'll get a kick out of it.

Sounds more like a short story.

Being blind must make writing a story much easier, since you can avoid that part where you stare at a blank sheet of paper for days.

I knew a guy who plagarized a philosophy of science paper with one of those. When the professor suspected he didn't write it himself, he turned over the smart pen to prove that he wrote it himself. I don't know if the professor actually believed him or was just impressed he was ballsy enough to do it, but it worked and he passed the class.

Fortunately the article has a picture of what a "crime light" might look like since I have never heard the phrase before now and Google doesn't seem to know what it is either. It seems to be some sort of "flashlight" or "torch" -- but this one is for crime!

Witness Mrs. Trish Vickers, a charter member in the Dorsett Literary Club. A bookish little woman whose passion is the printed page, but who is conspired against by a blank page without elastic bands and diabetes and a world full of tongue-cluckers and the unrelenting cartridge of ink. But in just a moment, Mrs. Vickers will enter a world without elastic bands or diabetes or ink or anything else. She'll have a world all to herself...without anyone

"It's not FAIR! It's not FAIR at all! Wait, here are the nice boffins from the forensics department!"

The best laid plans of mice and men...and Trish Vickers...the small woman in the dark glasses who wanted nothing but ink. Trish Vickers, now just a part of a crumpled first draft, just a piece of the scrap paper, just a fragment of what man has deeded to himself. Mrs Trish Vickers....in the Twilight Zone

I don't know... if I were blind, I'd take my chances on the pen running out of ink over Microsoft Word crashing while I was typing any day.

Thank you very much kittypie. I originally read the headline with "submitted for your approval," and Serlings voice in my head, then decided to go all in.

BTW, the link from another news article about this mentions that it took police five months to reconstruct it. If I were a resident of the area I might ask a few questions about that, hoping they did this during their downtime.

If you've ever watched a blind person try to use Microsoft Office with the default Windows Accessibility tools you'd spend your weekends donating pens and paper to blind people.

She'd be better off with a chisel and some rock.

Are you running Office 97 or something? I haven't had a copy of Word crash in about a decade. You might want to stop downloading so much porn, you may have gotten a virus or two if your system is that unstable.
