Wow I may not be a dog person, but how in the hell could you do that to those puppies. Hope he rots in a special place in hell.

They're bulldog mixes, so no. Not pure bred. However, LOOK AT THE CHUBBY LITTLE BASTARDS! So much squee to be made.

1 2 3 4 5! That sounds like a combination an idiot would put on his luggage!

It is, however, efficient packing. We got one of our cats when someone put him in a bag and threw him out a car window, but he was only packed one-per-bag.

\nice Better Off Dead reference, BTW

Reminds me of a guy who robbed a local bank a few years back. He brought a suitcase in which to haul his boodle, but discarded another case that was inside the first one and left it under a pine tree in the bank parking lot. Same thing. Had his name tag and address on it.

Another article says that he gave the dog away about a week ago and the suitcase was given away even before that. He's not sure how they ended up back together. LOL what a turd

Something that really irked me recently: In Baltimore City, a jury found two people not guilty of setting a pitbull puppy on fire. It had to later be euthanized due to massive burns.

There was one holdout in the first jury trial (possible jury nullification) who wanted to see "more forensic evidence." A clear example of watching too much CSI. The second trial had witnesses who wouldn't testify again, so it fell apart.

The men who did the burning are, unsurprisingly, in jail on other charges, including attempted murder and various other offenses.

People who abuse, mistreat, or neglect animals should, on top of whatever criminal punishment they receive, be subjected to whatever they did to the animal. Zip up puppies in a suitcase and leave them near a garbage can? You get zipped up into a suitcase and left near a garbage can, hope you don't run out of oxygen before someone finds you.

I think jury questionnaires should include "Do you watch CSI, NCIS, Law & Order, etc.?". If they answer yes, then they should be dismissed.

Our poor corgi died a few years ago, but was a really great and smart family dog for a long time (if you overlook the hair). About 3 years ago we got a great dane, and we have a long lived chihuaua that roolz the roost. Needless to say dog lovers, oh and by the way Romney can DIAF for what he did to his.

But this guy... the crime here is they only charged him with 2 misdemeanors.

Well, I like watching NCIS, to be honest, but I know it has about as much connection to reality as World of Warcraft, so would you auto disqualify me?

People who are clever enough to recognize the weight and reasoning behind that question would answer "no" and very likely know that NCIS is a combination of Science and Social fiction.

Sigh...... even if you're stupid enough to think that there should not be stiff penalties for the sake of the animals in cases of cruelty, people who do things like this - or worse - have shown a disturbing lack of empathy, an unusual level of cruelty, and a lack of respect for life and should face serious jail time simply on the basis that they have exposed themselves as a realistic threat to society in general.

You don't do shiat like this if you're an emotionally-balanced and properly functioning individual. At the very least this sort of thing ought to lead to a mental health evaluation to rule out the possibility that the perp is a potential threat to other people. This shiat about getting a fine and a nasty look from the judge is nonsense.
