I think Van Peezy's chances of leaving are quite a bit higher than 30%. I say he goes the Dan Patrick route and gets a radio show to go with him being the face of whatever the hell that NBC sports channel is ala Eisen leaving to be the face of the NFL Network.

2012-04-12 08:34:27 AM
Who?

2012-04-12 08:36:24 AM
I wouldn't call her a "hottie" really....but she seems really cool and would be fun to hang with. She actually seems to know sports and has some "balls" when it comes to off-the-cuff comments.

She's not the sideline reporter type and not a parrot...but I don't think I'd care to watch her on a non-sports related show like a morning TV show regardless

/not that I watch morning TV but Beadle on The View, or Regis and Kelly, or CBS Good Morning seems like a lame move...
//but she can make more money that's fo' sho'

taking entire male demographic with her

So, only women will be left watching ESPN?

She has a MILFish dirty quality about her. LIke she'd lick your backdoor...

2012-04-12 08:45:38 AM
Dear god that show is awful. Why would anyone care about a popular vote on sports topics. She was the only reason I could look at that show, and no I can't listen to it.

And yes, Erin Andrews is still their poster child, not Beadle.

2012-04-12 08:49:42 AM
SportsNation is mostly unwatchable, now it will be entirely unwatchable.

As for the others, hah, GLWT. Dana Jacobson's farm arms can more appropriately grace another network I'm sure.

2012-04-12 08:49:54 AM
She should join The Morning Drive on Golf Channel with that brunette minx.

Then release a steamy lesbian video where they take turns fisting and drilling each other with one of those dildo on a saws-all contraptions.

As for Beadle being a hottie, hey, enthusiasm is sexy.

I don't even know why it's even called the SVP show. Ryen Russillo hosts that show more than SVP ever does, and does a better job hosting it too on the offchance SVP is actually on the studio.

I've seen her a few times on that show. But then the producer cuts to cowherd and, *click*, I'm gone... Can't stand that guy for whatever reason...
From what I did see, she's got chops and will likely get any gig she wants, sports or not.

Nope...if anything, you helped confirm it

Hottie of the office? Maybe

But compared to the plethora of beautiful women on TV? Not feeling it.

Especially when you're comparing her to all the other women on TV.

Hope not. I like her podcast, and her apearences on the Famtasy Focus.
Hope Van Pelt doesn't leave either. Pulse of the Nation wouldn't be the same without him.

She's no Ashley Judd, that's for sure.

I like Beadle, but SportsNation is extremely obnoxious. I would like to see her move on to something else. Or it could just be Cowherd, he's a fart in any elevator he occupies.

I'd be very sorry to see Van Pelt go anywhere, his radio show with Russillo is my favorite one out there - they've got a great rapport going and get more out of their interviews than most others.

As for the others....meh.

Beadle is the only reason to watch that show. She is hot (IMHO), smart, funny. Cowherd is second only to Bayless on the ESPN douche list. Bayless has come on strong lately. SVP is a class act, hope he stays.

Beadle in a skin-tight suit? Oh hell yes!

One thing I will always appreciate about SN, is that they do a great job of talking about sports without being serious and acting like anything they say or do on their show matters for anything other then entertaining whoever is watching it.

The article doesn't mention that the ESPN people were not happy with her a couple years ago when she loudly and publicly said at a post-ESPY party that the just need to get farked. I am sure the story is floating around in the intrawebs somewhere.

He is excellent. Van Pelt seems destined for bigger and better things, I just don't know what "vehicle" is best suited for him.

As for Beadle, she's funny and manages to make Cowherd somewhat bearable--which should count for something.

YES! Thank God for that. I think Beadle and Cowheard's chemistry is perfect. She calls him on his shiat. Too many people take sports way too seriously these days and it's great to have shows like SN, ATH, and PTI to lighten it up a bit.

I really wish we could make a human sacrifice of Colin Blowhard to ensure Beadle and Van Pelt stick around.

To be fair, that's a pretty lucrative venture according to waitresses and strippers in the greater Orlando area.

Can't stand Cowherd on his radio show or other stuff he does, but Beadle makes him tolerable on SN.

The bottom one strikes me as someone who'd catch you staring at her prominent rack, then scold you for doing so, despite the fact that she clearly wants it to be noticed.

YOu're probably right...Lindsay Soto used to wear plunging necklines, tight tops, etc...then she had some weird stalker incident and got married, so now her clothes are way less revealing and she actually looks like she needs a sammich or two.

I found the following line from the article funny:

We counted at least four ESPN talents-plus Colin Cowherd-whose deals are up this year.

Yes ESPN has talents, and no Colin, you are not one of them.

There are hot girls on telelvision every second of every day. Rule 34 would cover the need for an attractive girl to rehash a scripted conversation about Tebow.

Yes, I did, I'm guessing you didn't. There's absolutely nothing in it about Erin Andrews not working for ESPN. It even says "Staying with ESPN will continue to give her access to something she loves-ABC's Good Morning America." ESPN and ABC are the same media company, both owned by Disney (80%) and Hearst (20%). ABC doesn't even have its own sports department anymore. Check out a broadcast, it'll say something like "ESPN on ABC".

I know I sound gay, but do people actually watch TV shows for the hot chicks? I watch shows because of clever writing, interesting plots, and talented acting. If I'm watching something just for the fly honeys, then it's porn and I'm tugging one out.

No. As a sports reporter she's somewhat attractive, but she looks like a skag next to the average weather girl.

2012-04-12 12:00:47 PM
Never seen her on TV but just going by the pics I'd say she's more cute than hot. There's nothing wrong with that. Other women who I'd put into that category include -

Jewel Staite
Kristen Bell
Allison Mack
Katee Sackhoff

So she's in very good company. To me "hot" is someone like Yvonne Strahovsky or, going back to my day, Elle MacPherson. A woman so gorgeous that I'd be tongue tied if she was even in the same room with me. "Cute" isn't even necessarily a step below in the looks department. It just implies a bubbly personality that would set me more at ease. Generally I aim for cute rather than hot.

Hope they all stay. Cowherd may be sort of a douche at times, but at least he goes against the ESPN talking points and provides an interesting opinion. I like Van Pelt's golf analysis but Rusillo is better IMO. Hope most of them stay.

A lot of farkers saying she isn't hot. Her personality and sports knowledge (and enthusiasm) puts her over the top of anyone else at ESPN. Plus, how many chicks do you know that can throw like this (new window)that aren't lesbians?

This. If you've never heard her podcast, you should. The chick is incredibly entertaining and her looks have nothing to do with it. Though she's also pretty hot.

2012-04-13 04:21:52 AM
I've never made it through an episode of SportsNation.
She's not THAT hot. An attractive woman is not a reason to watch a show with bad sports statistics.

If I want to see hot women I'll go look at hot women.
If I want an entertaining show I will not be watching Colin Cowherd.

Beadle's hot. But not scorchingly devastating hot - she's the "chick you hung out with in high school who could out-drink you, had a better fastball, and was funny as hell, then 10 years later you run into her somewhere and say 'wait - did you always look that good' because you cant believe it" kind of hot.

She has a lot going for her besides looks, but the looks are there too.
