There are too many government workers, the tax code is too big.

Sure. Let's start cutting all those deductions for millionaires. Maybe toss a bunch of those subsidies that are wasting money and complicating the code. Even a graduated flat tax, really get things simple while keeping a sane system.

Oh right, that's all socialism.

Go big or go home. Cut at least 10% of the military budget while you're at it to chop another $100+ billion. That way you could be a Groucho Marxist that's weak on defense. You know...Capt. Spaulding.

Not this shiat again

Folks, I hate to break it to ya, but the President isnt some omnipotent being who can control the universe at his will. He is one man in a vast, vast machine that is made up of millions of parts.

The President has very little to no power over the jobs market. Stop blaming him for shiat he aint responsible for.

I would also refer haters to a Google search of "Ross Perot" and "giant sucking sound". But just a regular search, not a GIS.

Demetrius: Go big or go home. Cut at least 10% of the military budget while you're at it to chop another $100+ billion.

That sort of thing doesn't happen overnight. Drastic cuts too quickly in any major area will cause job market wobbles and some measure of social instability, whether its Medicare or the Defense Deparment.

2012-04-12 01:01:34 AM
Let's ask the Republican Congress that very same question.

All we've been getting is anti-abortion bills. Jobs bills...very very few and far between. Other than pushing for the goddamn Canadian pipeline, there really aren't any.

Obama's jobs creation performance is great compared to those jackasses.

2012-04-12 01:02:12 AM
FTFA: Neither candidate seems eager to talk about the Perils-of-Pauline precipice moment that is scheduled to hit on New Year's Eve, when the Bush tax cuts and the temporary payroll tax cut expire at the same time that an automatic $1.2 trillion in budget cuts are supposed to take effect.

Well, there it is.

2012-04-12 01:03:51 AM
Where are the jobs? Stalled out on the obstructionist senate floor.

If you'd been paying attention you'd know that.

Meanwhile, in the GOP hive mind control center:

"Well, shiat...the gas prices are going down. NOW what are we going to complain about?"

"Uh, well...the latest jobs figures didn't meet expectations. How about we go with that one again?"

"Jesus. We really do need to figure out some more complaints or we're going to get our asses creamed in November."

So laying off workers would lead to more jobs?

GAT_00: And the Do Nothing Congress blocked any more.

The House Republican's tried repeatedly to lower taxes for the job creators while raising it on those lay about poor and middle class assholes who are holding the rest of us back.

2012-04-12 01:48:12 AM
What about those farks who are working two, three jobs? They need to stop hoarding jobs and give them to us. Time to ban people from having more than one job. For freedom.

2012-04-12 01:50:25 AM
Yea, blame all your problems on the President when the Republicans have filibustered practically everything he and the other legislative democrats have come up with to try and fix things.

Do you blame the roadblock, or the cars in your way? Republicans blame the cars

It is funny how the right is scream about where are the jobs when they were the ones that supported the idea of firing adults and replacing them with children because they could pay the children a fraction of what they paid the adults.

2012-04-12 01:53:00 AM
He was waiting until the Republican candidate was more obvious. Because if it had been Santorum, his re-election plan was just going to be "I'm not a nutjob."

While we're at it, businesses do not create jobs either. Customers create jobs. Businesses are just the middlemen that connect the people who do things with the people who have something that needs done.

The belief that the rich are job creators is a delusion I call "job creationism".
