That's some of the best news that Obama has had in a long time. He is now well on the way to getting reelected. I never thought that Free Republic would help to destroy the country. I was wrong.

I really still fail to see how people think Romney is better for Obama than Santorum.

1) Conservatives dislike Romney, but not as much as they dislike / hate Obama.
2) Independents are more likely to vote for Romney than Santorum.

They must have started believing Santorum's own bullshiat, that the reason Republicans can't win is because they keep putting moderates up for nomination.

There'll be a second wave of Santorum. He's dropping out now to maximize his chances for 2016.

2012-04-10 03:45:57 PM
Santorum has gained nothing by this. Romney is so far ahead that he doesn't need to pander to a Base that has no other options. He'll pick a VP of his own choosing, and I'm guessing he won't go for a Palin in the slightest. Teabaggers have a choice: vote R or vote Obama. And there's no need to pander to a bunch of pathetic sycophants with delusions of power.

And with Santorum's presidential chances, so dies the Teabagger. They must be really confused about what happened, but everybody really saw it coming: the Teabaggers really had no power to change anything that the Money didn't want changed. They're so indoctrinated with Democratic hatred that marketing to them now is like selling a bicycle to a fish: pointless. And the teabaggers are fuming because they simply don't get it, nor will they. They're useful retards and the Party itself has given them a challenge that they cannot understand: Obama or us. And these 'brave Christian Americans' will vote for a White Obama over the real one.

The Republicans have absolutely no integrity. If they wanted Romney out, they could have done so. But they have no real moral compass or values. They're just glorified footballs fans cheering for their home team, and about as smart. And the people who really control and own the Republican Party know this. Their base is dumb cattle, and the base doesn't even know what it wants anymore. All it knows is that it's angry and is bowing to the people who keep them that way.

But fark it. Santorum is done for. He got a chance to walk away before he was laughed out. And now we get to see the Teabaggers who bought the media line about their power get the same treatment. Face it, they're all going to vote for Romney. They'll biatch, but in the end they are just stupid cattle, and they'll walk into the slaughterhouse and justify it all the way to the air hammer.

Holy hell, they really seem to hate Romney as much as they hate Obama. A lot of em are gonna sit this one out from the looks of it.

Oh, I don't know. This guy seems to be taking it well and is keeping an objective viewpoint on the situation:

This means either:

1) Obama wins. Or,

2) The onerous Romney wins, fouls up horribly, cements the liberal socialist agenda in Washington, captains the economy as it collapses, guaranteeing that the Democrats will rule for another 50 years, assuming the United States itself does not collapse from its top-heavy, inefficient and totalitarian government.

In both cases, the conservative Supreme Court is lost, America's status as an economic and military superpower is over, internationalism will cause massive deprivation and suffering, our Bill of Rights will be forgotten and we will be subjected to East Germany quality nanny-statism.

The parts of our economy that could succeed will be suppressed, we will have massive and unpopular social change foisted on us, ignorant and fatalistic pseudo-scientists will finally get a ruinous chance to lord it over us with fantasies like population control and MMGW, and Agenda 21 will try to force all Americans into giant metropolises on the coasts, so that the heartland will be depopulated.

The very young will either be aborted or raised in government controlled stalls like farm animals, and anyone over the age of 60 will be put down as "obsolete". Death will be king.

Our allies will fall like dominoes before assorted tyrants, and millions of innocent people will be enslaved or die.

Congratulations, Republican leaders. This is what you wanted. This is what you craved. This is what you paid for and forced. And this is why you struggled so hard against the conservatives that wanted to stop this.

You won. America lost. Hopefully America will be remembered as a place that was once great, like Atlantis, a wonderful place full of dynamic people that the oppressed people of the world could have looked at with hope, that they might someday live like that, in freedom and liberty.

And hopefully, people like you will be remembered for ruining it, both directly and in complicity with the forces of evil and despair. That your names be cursed until they are forgotten, and your offspring live as castrated chattel.

You won.

This does not give Romney the win. He can't win the Presidency with or without my vote, and he can't have my vote!

Judson you should be ashamed. You split the conservative vote by supporting Gingrich and convincing Tea Party supporters that Gingrich is Conservative when the evidence is overwhelming that Gingrich is a Big Government Progressive. You perpetuated the lie that Gingrich balanced the budget and cut spending when in fact he didn't cut spending and the balanced budget was an illusion created by an accounting trick.

The Tea Party is in shambles in Colorado and the Republican Establishment will be sending the next in line RINO's to Washington if they can beat the incumbent Democrats. If many of the other States are in the same position, We the People have lost the entire battle and have probably lost the war.

And another gem, highlighting the fact that they don't even know what they are arguing about anymore:

To: Jim Robinson

We need a Conservative political party, whether it is called Conservative Party or Tea Party or Constitution Party, I don't care.

There are so many disenfranchised GOP conservatives, and TONS of independent conservatives who have dumped the GOP over the past 20 years. If we had a unified conservative party that only had conservative cadidates and stuck to a small government platform, I swear it would out-draw the remaining RINO GOP.

For the life of me, I don't get why Obama and Hannity aren't demanding this, UNLESS they aren't genuine conservatives.

We need a conservative national politica party, now!

Are you listening, Sarah?????

Thunderpipes: Obama will win handily. He has all the black vote, most of the Latino vote, women are dumb, poor people are dumb, liberals are dumb, so he gets all of those too. Occupy, college kids, none have life experience so will vote for free stuff.

Really is the beginning of the end. 10 years we will have Greece debt to GDP ratio, and even more dumb poor people, all breeding ultra fast and making new lil Democrats. They will need more and more free stuff, so Democrats will borrow more and more to buy their votes and enrich themselves.

Conservatives are almost universally weak-minded. The world is black and white to them, and they're highly suggestible by their own party. If you don't support a war president, then you hate the troops (unless the president is a Democrap/Black). Muslims are bad. Someone who has Hussein in his name is just like Saddam Hussein. Frenchies are bad. If you're not with us, you're agin us. Liberals are bad. You either believe that the Earth was created in its present form in six days 6000 years ago or else you hate Jesus and families and puppies and the Good Ol' U.S. of A.

Are there some stupid libs? Sure. But it's nothing compared to the army of know-nothings on your side. Elitist? If elitist means "not the dumbest motherfarker in the room," sure, I'll be elitist.
