SacriliciousBeerSwiller: Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have rules of engagement that go well beyond a simple "durrr hurrr I feel threatened". So do police. So in effect, the idiotic "stand your ground" law give more leeway to shoot someone to death to common untrained dipsh*ts with guns than actual TRAINED troops and police have.

That's because they're acting as government agents. A civilian using lethal force wrongly is certainly a tragedy, but a government actor doing the same is unconstitutional. Zimmerman shooting the kid is Zimmerman's fault.. A cop doing the same thing would not be just the cop's fault, blame would also fall on his training and supervisors.

I'll be dammed if the money I pay for Thin Mints goes toward abortions! They need to earn that First-Aid badge and learn to use coat hangers!

Miss Stein: Wonder if Wes Keller is related to Dianne Keller, who was the mayor of Wasilla after Palin.

Isn't everyone sort of related up there?

Also, it sure seems the GOP is kind of like a tea kettle filled with hate whistling away on the stove, venting a fine mist of bigotry.

Hold on.

This Representative was sooooo lazy that WHILE ON THE INTERNET he couldn't take the time to verify something HE READ ON THE INTERNET.

And y'all call the younger generations lazy. Jeez.

I saw somewhere on the internet that Samoas are made with ground-up aborted fetuses which is why they're so nummy.

*yawn* Wake me when a conservative says something honest or profound.

skullkrusher: wtf does that have to do with Planned Parenthood?

Oddly enough, I want to ask your fellow Republicans the same question: wtf does the Girl Scouts have to do with Planned Parenthood?

ToddMU03: That guy must have missed it when the Indiana guy tried it. His own party leader bought Girl Scout cookies for everyone in the House.

Or perhaps he is very clever and just wants free cookies.

skullkrusher: wtf does that have to do with Planned Parenthood?

Last night my daughter sat next to me as I feverishly worried my fingers over the buttons on the game console controller in order to save the planet yet (again!) from blood thirsty enemies and asked "Daddy? Are the Somoas any good? We're out of the Thin Mints?"

"I love them. You should try them. They're good." I replied.

"But I don't like coconut!!" she cried, but got up to get some anyway.

She returned from the pantry a short moment later and I asked her what she thought of them.

"I tried one. It was gross. I threw it away."

Shortly after speaking these words, I packed her in the car and had her retro-aborted at our local PP.

AirForceVet: Girl Scout Thin Mints are really birth control wafers. I heard it on the Internet.

They may be onto something. When you're that busy licking the chocolate out from between the woman's knees, it's hard to impregnate her.

skullkrusher: you dum

So this very thread isn't about Republicans linking Girl Scouts to Planned Parenthood?

The girl scouts organization is generally a joke. If I had a daughter, I wouldn't let her join. I'd be O.K. with my son being in Boy Scouts, though.

I'll leave the insults for you and ask again why your fellow Republicans insist on linking GSA and PP.

Vodka Zombie: It's got to be kind of embarrassing being a Republican these days. Maybe that's why they're lashing out?

The onion has taken another right winger who doesn't read his source material.

yep, that's why you dum. Why don't you tell me why your fellow furries enjoy sex with people in animal costumes? I don't know why Republicans link GSA with PP. I also don't know how making such a link will teach young women to be who the want to be regardless of what religious people tell them to be. Which is the question I asked.

If my posts over the years were overwhelmingly pro-furry, that would have been a great zinger.

Oh, and p.s. I don't see why you think I'd be ashamed of being a furry. Consenting adults + not hurting anyone else = fine with me. In fact, the "not hurting anyone else" part alone puts furries above your fellow Republicans in my book.

I'm sure you can come up with a laundry list of things which I agree with the GOP on. Please, have at it. I like explaining to you why you're dumb.

because being a furry is embarrassing, that's why. It has nothing to do with consenting adults. Consenting adults diaper each other too... doesn't make it any less farking weird.

I think furries are freaky, but as long at it's between consenting adults and they don't start "yiffing" (or whatever the hell they call it) in public, I don't give a f*ck. I doubt you'd enjoy being told what you can and cannot do in your bedroom by nosy prudish assh*les.

Everybody's got their something.

Well, since we've already established beyond doubt the sheer lunacy of Alaskan Republicans let's settle this once and for all.

Samoas > Tagalogs > Thin Mints.

There, glad that got cleared up.
