Hi George, let's go over to camera 3 for a minute.

Look, you don't have to tell me if you killed Trayvon Martin in cold blood or not. That's not something I am really interested in. I noticed your website and some of your comments. They don't come across all that well. You need someone to clean up your message a little bit. If I were you this is what I would release.

"Due to advice from my lawyer I cannot discuss specifics of the incident in Sanford, Florida. When I can I certainly will. I look forward to the day that I have the opportunity to meet with Trayvon's parents and anyone else in the community that will listen and begin the healing process. As much as I can never know the pain that his family is going through, I think about it every day."

See George, how easy was that?

That shouldn't be too hard to find. Boobies are everywhere. Whatever you do, don't google "pancake crack titties" - you may not be able to sleep tonight.

Mock26: Got some proof to back this up? Not doubting you, but this is the first I have heard that he did not call 911.

Nope, I don't. I thought he a called non-emergency number. I was wrong.

Frank N Stein: Mock26: Frank N Stein: Mock26: He has been asked the same thing in other threads, too. The short of it is that 9beers has all but said that it is perfectly OK for Zimmerman to have ignored the orders of the police, followed Trayvon, attacked Trayvon, and when Trayvon fought back to have shot him dead.

There were no "orders" from police, and there is ambiguity in who attacked first.

When asked if he was following Trayvon, Zimmerman said, "Yeah," to which the 911 operator said, "We don't need you to do that." And if I remember correctly in that area the 911 operators are law enforcement agents. They are, in effect, the police.

He didn't call 911

So, if he didn't call 9-1-1, he called police directly. That would mean the police dispatcher, a member of the police department, told him to back off and he didn't listen.

That's kind of worse.

Sure there is. He shot Trayvon!

9beers: I know exactly what I'm saying and the context in which it was said. That doesn't seem to be one of your strong points though.

Context, huh?

9beers: The streets in Sanford are safer with this violent thug off of them. Zimmerman deserved an award for his actions.

He didn't call 911

The police non-emergency operator didn't want him to follow the "Suspect" and escalate the "situation" into an actual emergency.

Seems like it was a pretty farking good call IMO.

Except that he ended up standing over a body on a footpath well away from his car. Zimmerman's story that he just happened upon Martin on a footpath, who was running away from him, is ridiculous.

Well like I said, i haven't been on the main page in a long time, I'm not up on all the new trolls. I'm trying to see this incident from both sides and I'm trying to remain unbiased.

i don't mind engaging an idiot for debate once in awhile though, consider me a semi-sadist. (not meaning you btw)

Any decent sized police department has a non-emergency line staffed by a dispatcher. Dispatchers are not police officers. Again, this is something that was public knowledge in the early days of this case.

Why do you studiously avoid any question put to you?

One such question: Are you an anti-black racist?

The answer to the question requires, at most, three key strokes. Why do avoid answering?

frenchcheesemuseum: zixr: i think 9beers deserves an award in the category of blatant and efficient trolling.

Well as much as I don't like his posting style, there are bits of truth in some of the things he is saying.

I'm inclined to think he's not always trolling.

That being said, it's been a long time since I've ventured into main page land. I enjoy the mundane snarkasm over in Tfarkistan, they're so much less serious.

i agree he makes some valid points, but they start to cancel themselves out when most of his answers are just more questions and it's not like he is offering some groundbreaking opinions that haven't been offered by both sides already.

as a former troll back in my teenage years, i can easily spot them, but i can definitely appreciate the effort since it still gives me a chuckle or two.

There's one hair in your soup: Zimmerman said to the dispatcher, "actually, could you have [the police] call me and I'll tell them where I'm at."

Zimmerman:
Yeah, yeah, I live here.
911 dispatcher:
OK, what's your apartment number?
Zimmerman:
It's a home. It's 1950 - oh, crap, I don't want to give it out - I don't know where this kid is [inaudible] [3:40]
911 dispatcher:
OK, do you just want to meet with them at the mailboxes then? [3:42]
Zimmerman:
Yeah, that's fine. [3:43]

s2s2s2: Do you make any?

I didn't make any claims...except for mentioning that you lied when you claimed that Zimmerman communicated a rendezvous point to the police (you claimed the communication was "in the link") when he did no such thing. In fact, Zimmerman told the police they should call to determine his location -- which doesn't make much sense if the subject is stationary.
