When in doubt, submitter, just ramble on about things. It's almost like you had your title translated into Japanese and then back to English. Because subby has fancy plans and pants to match.

2012-04-09 08:34:20 AM
It's kind of hard to follow, but is Subby saying the government of Rhode Island can create jobs?

Clear and Present Danger was okay, but I'm not really a Tom Clancy fan.

Sweet Dream Blackberries Review
Only another day a rather peculiar Television commercial caught my attention called Sweet Dream Blackberries. Positive enough, easily were to purchase some special blackberry plants from an unknown business, I could possess a harvest with the fruit. It may yield as much as 4 pints of blackberries daily, all season lengthy!

Merely think about the possibilities of obtaining that several blackberries! I imply, I recently wouldn't know what to complete! I could open my own roadside shop and sell the extra blackberries by the pint, ideal? Who on the market wouldn't want so many blackberries?

hahaha "Big Dog Syndrome." For example, every pit bull I've ever known has thought itself a lap dog. And every Doberman I've ever met only ever wanted to be petted. Now, the little dogs are the ones you gotta watch out for. YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP *BITE*

F*cking ankle-biters...

Any chance that headline meme will be going away anytime soon? After the first 3-4000 times i've seen it, its worn a bit thin.

First off, this is a stupid waste of law. People who understand that this isn't a great idea will make other arrangements for taking care of their dogs while driving. Those who don't won't bother to learn the law, either.

That said, the whole "they haven't solved all other problems, so why are they working on anything else?" meme idiocy. Most of those problems will never really be "solved", and where the government has an obligation to act, it shouldn't wait until everything else that is more life-affecting is complete or it would wait forever.

I think the problem is a need for negative reinforcement, we should be able to vote on headlines, and if they garner a low enough negative score, Submitter loses one off his headline count.

I kept waiting for a "Caught sayof" or similar as I slogged my way through that grammatical dung heap. If this is a new meme, I can't say I see the lulz in it.

I think the point is to give officers an actionable/ticketable infraction to pull some one over, rather then just encouraging them to do it under distracted driving.

And to add on to your point in the second paragraph:
Yes, dumbmitter. While those are all important issues, I'm sure that means they have no time or effort to do ANYTHING ELSE what so ever.

2012-04-09 11:52:46 AM
I just want to know why people are so rabidly against multi-tasking. Sounds like the town is trying to get ahead of the inevitable day where some dumbass drops a pocketbook dog on to the floor of their car and it gets stuck under the brake pedal, causing the car to speed into a school bus fulll of handicapped kids. Most of the time, the town waits until after the disaster to happens to legislate.

Mrs bearcats and I just got a puppy (12 weeks old now) a couple weeks ago. He hasn't really figured out car etiquette yet. I can usually toss him a rawhide and he's fine, but there are times where he wants to climb on my shoulders or, worse, under my legs. Hopefully he'll figure the "head out the window, tongue out" thing soon.

:-P Which strikes me as just adding to the bureaucracy without any real gain. If someone isn't driving safely, whether it's because of a cell phone or a bowl of chili, the unsafe driving is the offense, not the chili-slurping. If they're doing a Rubic's Cube while driving in stop-and-go traffic but with perfect attention to what's going on around them...there's not any crime in fact.

I typically agree with the "this problem" point you have with one exception: our national budget. I think until those 500+ idiots get their asses into chairs and hammer out THAT problem, they should be prohibited from going on recess, bathing, holding another committee meeting, banging an intern, or brushing their teeth. Out budget should be fixed by Friday.

Hmm interesting ill have to weigh in here as a proud Rhode Islander.

Had a lovely 50 year old woman rear end my former truck at a red light while driving her Mercury Sable. She had her Yorkshire terrier on her lap. After the ten mph collision she had her dog in her hair, on her cheeks and basically all over her vehicle.

If you travel with your dog on your lap you're a stupid farking moron. Plain and simple.
