Which is all fine if she's playing the lead in The Winona Ryder Story.

Oh, FFS. RTFA, people.

She's playing Fantine in the new "Les Miserables" movie. In the stage play on which the movie is based, Fantine sells her hair and send the money to the Thénardiers for the care of her daughter, Cosette.

As with the previous thread regarding her 500 calorie a day diet so she'll look as though she's starving to death, she was also doing that for her role as Fantine.

So... this *isn't* The Winona Ryder Story, then?

NUTS.

I was looking forward to whole scenes devoted to the filming of Beetlejuice.

Anne Hathaway as a filthy French prostitute. Santa, I'm sorry I doubted you ever read my letter.

Now, can we change it from "based on the epic period novel by Victor Hugo" and have it "based on the epic hot oil lingerie tickle fight from Penthouse Forum" and just order the Oscar polish by the skid.

I thought Emma Watson was merely eh until she got that pixie hair style then I thought
she looked incredibly hot.

Hathaway does not even look a tenth as hot with that hair style.

The weight will come back.

The hair will come back.

It's all for a role.

Now, everyone just return to your bunks with this (new window,NSFW/Fark).

I thought Emma Watson was hotter when she chopped off her hair.

Hair is just a distraction. With short hair you get to focus on the facial features.

Woohoo! My little fetish has long been to see some Maddow on Maddow porn.

I was thinking of a time travel story with Rachel Maddow along the lines of the Man who folded himself.

I don't care if that short hair and big nose makes you look like Chico Marx now, I still love you Anne!

Because of her nude scenes in Havoc, and Love and Other Drugs I can never stop loving her.

Interesting. I don't remember reading that one, but it has some parallels, as you note, with the Man Who Folded Himself.

Ya know, late at night I look for stories like this...

because that's when I have the time to read science-fiction.

But thanks, I don't know if I read them at such an early age I didn't quite catch on, or if I didn't read them, but I was pretty heavily into buying all the books of my favorite authors at the time. The David Gerrold story was sort of meh in many ways, but um, I enjoyed the twists. Trouble with Tribbles is certainly the highlight of his career.

I certainly enjoyed Stranger in a Strange Land as a teenager....
