All things considered, I think I'm behind Bubba this year.

/would bet on Phil

Is this today's episode of "Which Club Would Tiger Throw?"

MaudlinMutantMollusk: Is this today's episode of "Which Club Would Tiger Throw?"

No kidding. Rory had a horrible day and managed to get the crowd behind him. Tiger just showed himself to be the red-ass we always knew he was. I wouldnt be surprised if Billy Payne throws a little dig at Tiger in the coverage today. Augusta National isn't real keen on AWing. Especially by non-members.

2012-04-08 12:48:30 PM
Let's go Phil!!

2012-04-08 12:53:33 PM
If Phil breaks 70, I can't see him losing.

2012-04-08 12:58:18 PM
Side note- Can anyone tell me why Freddy tried to tincup 15 from 255yds out in the 1st cut yesterday? I mean hell, he was at -4 at the time and right in the thick of things. That decision made zero sense to me.

My sentiments precisely.

Phil has been my favorite for a long time, but Bubba is a blast to watch.

/wouldn't mind seeing Kootch win it either

2012-04-08 01:12:52 PM
Lefty FTW.

2012-04-08 01:15:37 PM
Paddy Time.

/book it. done.

2012-04-08 01:19:27 PM
Van Pelt. Wow.

2012-04-08 01:21:41 PM
I'm rooting for man boobs.

/realizes phil doesn't really have man boobs anymore

2012-04-08 01:30:40 PM

Rustico: Van Pelt. Wow.

Pars the 5 and eagles the 3, different way of doing things.

I suppose. His caddy should have grabbed that 3 wood out of his hands and snapped it over his knee.

2012-04-08 01:37:57 PM
If Miguel Angel Jiminez can't win, I'd be OK with Phil or Bubba.

2012-04-08 01:58:49 PM
hard to not root for Phil, unless it's for Boom Boom!

A tight field of vets and young guns

/mmmm saucy!

2012-04-08 02:09:04 PM
Alright. Full HD coverage now, bloody mary(soon to be a pislner or 6), pork roast on super slow-smoke and a crapload of people in the running. Happy happy joy joy.

2012-04-08 02:10:37 PM
Now let's watch Tiger drive this into the azaleas.

2012-04-08 02:10:39 PM
I'd love to see bubba walk away with a jacket, but I gotta think it'll be phil. Athough that swedish dude looked really really good yesterday. So did Oosthuizen.

2012-04-08 02:16:06 PM
Rooting for Bubba. Gut tells me Phil.

2012-04-08 02:17:03 PM
I expect Hanson to break under the pressure.

2012-04-08 02:17:40 PM
It would be funny if Phil won his fourth green jacket, tying him with Tiger. Phil's never gonna get to 14 majors but if he eclipsed tiger in Masters, it would be worth a lol.

But why would he want to descend to Tiger Woods level of thuggishness?

/'Cuz we all know no one else has ever gotten angry on a golf course before.
//Henrik Stenson was merely doing some emergency landscaping so that no one else would slip where he did on Thursday.

2012-04-08 02:20:25 PM
I'm sorry, guys. I just can't root for a guy named Bubba.

2012-04-08 02:21:19 PM
Tiger just hit one into Rae's Creek. Looks like he's going to cry.

Can you blame him?

How are Tiger and his PGA doing today?

2012-04-08 02:26:42 PM
Vijay can still play golf. That was an excellent shot.

2012-04-08 02:29:24 PM
The only time you're going to see hole-by-hole coverage of a guy 13 shots back. Tiger's still the story of the Masters.

2012-04-08 02:29:56 PM
It's too bad none of the Amateurs kept it together for four rounds. Cantlay looked REALLY good there for a while. Would've been cool to see one of them break par on the weekend. Cantlay and Matsuyama look to be solid pros.

Not really, this is from the Amen Corner coverage on Masters.com. I've seen every pair go through here since it came on at 11:45 this morning.

Nick Faldo's windowpane tie was PIMP

think i'm rooting for Bubba. I just watched his Feherty appearance last night, he seems kinda cool.

And will always get camera time. Jack and arnie had a camera crew following them every year till they retired. Nothing wrong with it imo. Augusta has always highlighted its history and traditions.

I've been watching on TV and they've gone back to Tiger more times than his score deserves. Now that Phil's on the course they'll actually have another name people recognize to talk about.

2012-04-08 02:42:06 PM
boy phil's really slimmed down.

I guess I don't have that knowledge base. I grew up knowing only the Tiger era.

2012-04-08 02:42:18 PM
I'm betting Hanson loses the lead by the 7th hole and finshes no better than fourth.

2012-04-08 02:43:00 PM
oosthuizen wearing green on Masters Sunday just seems like bad karma

2012-04-08 02:43:25 PM
Damn Bubba

2012-04-08 02:44:15 PM
Dangit Bubba. That 1st hole is a killer, though.

Nice not to hear Johnny "You know, I shot 63 at Oakmont" Miller yapping about how bad everyone is playing.

"Yeah, I could still shoot a 64 here today with a putter, 3 wood, and a 7 iron....If I wanted too. These kids are awful."

2012-04-08 02:47:34 PM
Ok - first test for Hanson

Notwithstanding my crack on Johnny Miller, I have to say Westwood has begun his inevitable gag job on Sunday rather early.

No worse than hearing ricky "I could beat Tiger in a putting contest" thepenguin

In news from the live broadcast Tiger is not in contention. Better show him instead of a good golfer

i stand by that....like i said, he might cover the 350 in two shots to my 4, but on the green, i'd like my chances. he's just awful lately. dreadful.

2012-04-08 02:52:32 PM
WTF was that Phil? It was Hanson who supposed to f-up.
