Radio stations worldwide will start playing Celine Dion's Titanic song non-stop.

Have liners really learned from Titanic's lessons? They've had 100 years, so would it be fair to say a repeat would be impossible, and that most big ships today are unsinkable, unless they have Italian captains?

Really? That's probably why these people want to retrace the voyage of the Titanic.

The existence of sonar these days will help a lot, but I suppose with enough bungling one can sink anything.

I'm sure they have radar or sonar to detect big ass icebergs no matter how foggy it is. As long as the captain isn't shiatfaced, which is a big if, I imagine it's pretty safe. You'd be more likely to die or get sick from food poisoning or some virus.

Christ, now I have it stuck in my head.

I liked the interview with Kate Winslet where she said she hated that farking song and whenever she goes to a restaurant or pub they play it when she comes in. How farking lame and dense is that? Poor girl had to go to all the premieres of the 3D re-release.

Everybody seems to have entrance music. I'd like to walk into anywhere (work, store, etc.) with some Motorhead playing, but this can't be done.

She's nothing like as elegant (or as big) as the original.
