In six years, I would. Seriously man, what do you think I am, a Junior High School teacher?

Nice rack.

Upon receiving the wallet back, the happy owner promised her a motorboat.

Subby why are you looking at her shirt?
/I always look into a woman's eyes
//You know the two under her shirt

2012-04-07 04:49:48 PM
I can't tell what her shirt says subby and I don't feel comfortable looking that hard at her chest to find out.

2012-04-07 04:50:04 PM
I couldn't make out what her shirt says.
Stard oot?

TFA:She said the first thing she did when she found the wallet was hand it over to her principal.

...Edwards said she was just doing what she thought was the right thing, and she said if ever confronted with a similar circumstance again, she'd do it again.

While I have to commend her for being honest and not greedy, I have to say NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT IS A BAD IDEA.

You don't go to someone in 'authority', *especially* anyone associated with law enforcement and/or the educational system. That's about the worst idea possible, because odds are that *someone* along the way is just itching to exert their little tin god powers and get someone into trouble. And even if there isn't, I would seriously expect the money to vanish somewhere along the way more often than not.

You find something like this, you investigate it yourself. You find the cell number on the receipt, call it yourself, and arrange to return it without involving anyone (other than probably a large male family member who you trust to go with you on the return trip, since you are a teenage girl and you have no idea what this person is like). You don't give anyone in 'authority' a chance to get involved and wave their dicks around in the process.

I believe the shirt says "Stand Out".

//Cause with her breast size, that's not obvious, or hard to do.
//I didn't look that hard at her chest. Except now my eyes are crossed.

2012-04-07 04:53:29 PM
I'm sorry but how old is she again?

2012-04-07 04:53:29 PM
Well, making fun of her name would be dumb. I have no idea what her shirt says other than stand out, which is apprapros to her actions.
Not many kids are that homest.

I say, good on ya, lass. We need more kids like her, imo.

It's a fine story but it's farking sad that something like this, that we all should do without giving it a second thought, gets labelled with a "hero" tag because there are so many assholes out there that would just take the money and run.

2012-04-07 04:57:29 PM
I found a wallet with hundreds of dollars in it when I was a teen. Passports, credit cards, SIN cards, etc as well. I called the number I found in the phone repeatedly, and after 5 days of no reply I turned it into the police (with everything still in it). Apparently this woman picked it up an hour later.

I didn't even get a thank you, nevermind a reward.

Dude "lost" his wallet, and ended up hugging a nicely developing 14 year old all for just a hundred bucks.

/I may have to try that

Wait, backup. How did you manage to change the wallet's appearance to look like the police?

I lost my wallet at the Louvre in Paris not 3 days ago, 30 minutes later someone had turned it in at the lost and found and left all the Euros in it as well. Pretty awesome of him/her.

Well something really stands out;)

What a girl with good moral character, pretty face, and attractive body! She's awesome, it's like someone gifted her with all the goods a woman would ever need!

I don't even understand how this is a news article - which makes it perfect for Fark of course, but really, is this so strange? I know it's a cynical world, but I do think most people would hand in a wallet, regardless of the amount of cash within it.

2012-04-07 05:16:23 PM
Does it seem suspicious to anyone else that the guy had that much cash in a wallet with no ID?

2012-04-07 05:17:17 PM
I once found a purse with 5k in it. I returned it. The asian dry cleaners I returned it too didn't even say thank you. They thought I stole it.

I wonder if this would have been a story if she didn't have such a nice rack.

Besides being cute as a button, she's very articulate for a 14 year old smoking hot.

The bus is going to be very full. Could I have an aisle seat please?

SERIOUSLY cute now; will ripen and rot by 18.

Good character, though.

Dayum! I don't recall girls having racks like that when I was 14. Is all the hormones in the food or something?

I find wallets and purses all the time. One time I was in a reverse situation as this. A girl half my age. Well underage and jailbate came in for her purse. Hot and latino. She had a couple hundred bucks in there she says but what got me is she hugged me and said 'Omg is there anything I can do? Thank you so much! Ohhh i though i lost it all!' Im married. Im honest enough not to steal purses and wallets. Not gonna cheat on my wife. But I still can kick myself and wonder...
