I've never fapped into a cup before. Too small an area to aim.

I'd make them at best 3rd favourites for the FA Cup at the minute.

As it stands, 46 points is the maximum number of points that the 18th place team can earn for this season.

The fewest number of points earned by the 18th place team is 30. That record looks safe.

The average number of points earned by the 18th place team is 35.8. So 36 points is the average safe zone.

The maximum number of points ever earned by the 18th place team is 42 (for a 20-team EPL). So Liverpool should be safe from relegation.

How much did Chealski pay the linesman. Even Howard Webb would be embarrassed about that.

Can anyway tell me the likelihood or scenarios where Newcastle will play in the Europa League?

Yes, but then I'd have to kill you.

Three places up for grabs. Liverpool have one already by dint of winning the League Cup.
FA Cup claims one as well, unless the winning team qualifies for the CL or wins both the FA Cup AND the League Cup. Remaining places awarded to teams from fifth down - UNLESS Chelsea win the CL but don't finish in the top 4 league spots, in which case the 4th placed team will drop into the Europa.

See, easy!

Newcastle would like anyone but Everton to win the FA Cup, so that the Europa threshold drops down another place.

Chelsea got handed 3 points by the linesmen. No, he wasn't 'payed off' he just sucked today.

These things even out amirite? The funny thing is, I think they're owed the ref farking up in their favor against Barca after 'that semi-final' the last time they met.

They might've cashed in too early.....

At least Spuds were Spuds today. Again.

I think we can blow away City, yet at the same time, can be blown away as well.
One things certain though, City will play for a win against us away from home. For once.

2012-04-07 11:15:36 PM
Oh, and major props for Newkz. Cisse and Demba have to be up there for buys of the season. Thats ignoring Ben Arfa and Cabaye.

If they get defensive cover and hold on to the talent.....the rest of the prem will need to be vary. For the first 3/4 of the new season anyway. ;)

I'm in Prague today, but determined to catch Arsenal/Citeh at 5/4 pm. The George & Dragon looks promising, but nothing is confirmed. Otherwise, I'm SOL since the hotels wi-fi isn't robust enough for a stream

Two home wins today, please.

Famous last words perhaps, but that QPR team looks awful.

Poor Berbatov really has fallen out of favour.

Everton will qualify for the Europa League if they lose the final to a team that qualifies for the Champions League.

George & Dragon viewing confirmed! They undoubtedly have wifi, so I'll keep up with the banter.

Sticking with the Urquells until game time, them perhaps on to something more appropriate later

Morning all. Only got to watch the Spurs/Sunderland game yesterday. Ugh...well, at least they gained 1 point....

Think United has QPR easily. As for Arsenal and City...ugh. I don't want Arsenal to win since they'd pass my team in the standings, but there's absolutely no way I can root for City. I can't really wish ill on Arsenal either. Maybe a meteor will strike the City bench forcing the game to be abandoned.

MU v QPR - 2-0
Arsenal v City - 1-1

/warning: poster has trouble predicting last weeks lottery numbers today, let alone soccer scores

MANCHESTER UNITED PENALTY

QPR RED CARD

Shaun Derry nudges Ashley Young, who was offside in the box, Young goes down, pen and a red.

WAYNE ROONEY scores it.

Welp, this is a loss for QPR.

Young has always liked a flamboyant fall. Or a dive. Whatever.

I know how you feel; as an Arsenal fan I'm obligated to give Tottenham (and the fans) some stick, but City is sooooo hateable this year. Arsenal has the squad to crush City and City could crush the Gunners. It really depends on which teams show up. Like I said yesterday, the returns of Aguero and Lescott will be huge.

As much as I'd hate to do it, I would applaud your Spurs if they finished ahead of Arsenal this season. They've definitely earned their place at the top of the table.

Morning, All! I'm still drunk giddily shiatfaced, I'm on Fark this early, and there's a girl I convinced to have fun with me still asleep next to me! I know, I'm a total idiot!

Here's a picture of SCZC, The Ox, Alex "Look at all the Farks I Give" Song, and Bac-Bac doing ballet! Happy Easter, everyone!
