I admit it, this Onion headline caused me to laugh, chortle, and guffaw. Bravo.

Although the Preds are in the playoffs. They probably could have picked a crappier team to use in this story.

Then they couldn't use the future t-shirt cannon parties joke.

They seem to enjoy picking on the teams in the south though -- almost like hockey isn't really native to warm regions and the Area Man is confused as to what is going on.

What a non humorous article.

/Preds fan, but it's still not funny

"playoff" T-shirt cannon parties in the next few weeks, but sources said hockey-playing men are expected to ruin those too.

Yes Nashville, those playoff parties will be ruined

it's still funny, even though they beat my team to get that cup.

I worship hockey ... no matter if it's in the great white north, lesser gray-ish north, south, west, southwest, in a swamp, in a desert ... and I will defend it for everything that's awesome about it.

But that's pretty darn funny, Onion.

I took the article as saying hockey in general ruined the t-shirt cannon party, and not this specific team. I could be wrong, though. It's happened once before.

What is this "hockey" you are talking about?

/I miss the Thrashers

It's funny because this article is basically true of all hockey games.

If it was last night's game, the Stars were the crappier team there.
