Woody Moore, please consider the positive side of the story. The lunatic murderer used a homemade knife rather than a firearm. Gun control in prisons appears to be working, no?

Souza's sentencing for the murder of Schaefer concluded years of criminal hearings that flowed from the death of Melody Osheroff, who was a fourth-grade student at San Ramon Elementary School. The Osheroff family still has a lawsuit pending against the city of Novato. Schaefer, a repeat drunken driver, struck Melody and her father Aaron in a crosswalk on San Marin Drive. Melody died the next day, and her father suffered major internal injuries and the loss of a leg.

Bad publicity? This guy did society a favor. If a drunk driver killed my husband any child I would definitely hope the criminal would be housed with a convict that would kill him. It would save me the trouble of having to track the bastard drunk driver down after he was released and shooting his ass.

Im half tempted to write the guy in the article a thank-you note for doing the right thing.

I am not talking about what he did, but what he stands for. I'm pointing out the fact that the Supremacists blame problems on minorities and such, but then can't seem to stay out of his own way so now he's in jail. But I guess he'll somehow blame that on society.

Besides, the mototrcyclist was already serving his time in jail, but if you want to turn prisons into some kind of Thunderdome place then more power to you.

Thunderdome had rules. No breaking deals. Both fighters had access to the same weapons. America's prisons, however, are becoming like those South American prisons where the gangs run everything and kill each other willy-nilly.

The US founders instituted a proper justice system because they knew most people prefer blood.

Give it up for America - guilty until proven innocent, but even then you're always guilty, and always eager to throw the first stone. This is why we're the one country that executes more people than everyone else.

A guy is in jail for drunk driving. He killed someone. But because some people tie it to emotions, he deserves to be lynched. He was already serving his time. Would you want people to scream for your death because you made a royally stupid mistake and are already paying the piper for it?

Because when you're a worthless piece of shiat with nothing going for you, it's nice to have some excuse to feel better about yourself. Even if it's a bullshiat reason like "my skin is the bestest color," it allows you to maintain some self esteem. Even if you're not very rich, not very bright, have no marketable skills, can't get along with people in a civilized society, hooked on drugs, and aren't particularly attractive or interesting you can say "well, at least I'm better off than those people".

Understand that the Aryan Brotherhood is a gang involved in extortion.

If you or I went to prison -we might be asked to pay them for their protection (It's called racketeering (new window)). This murder is a reminder to all those who don't pay the Aryan Brotherhood -what happens.

To be fair, Fark drunk drivers haven't killed anyone yet. So all that self-righteousness makes perfect sense to them.

Also, I was firmly on the side of "this is wrong!" right up until I read about the asshole who got killed. It's still wrong, but maybe less so. Like I said, he didn't deserve to die because he got a DUI, but because he has shown a consistent inability to learn anything from his past mistakes.

That said, he didn't deserve murder. If he hadn't been in jail, he likely would have killed himself on his motorcycle while driving drunk once again. Why? Because that's the kind of guy he was.

He got killed in prison because he was an asshole.

I think it's horrifying that it took a White Power guy to get justice. If it were up to me, if you get convicted of drunk driving EIGHT TIMES and then manage to kill somebody while driving drunk, you should spend the rest of your life in prison at best.

Heck, I'd settle for three.

I believe it's been said they are the windows to the soul.

I think it's horrifying that it took a White Power guy to get justice.

You'd have us believe that those white power guys aren't so bad.

As I understand it, in prison. all the racial groups band together with their own kind for mutual protection.

Cool facts:
In 1973, the California branch of the Aryan Brotherhood rejected Charles Manson when he asked them for protection against black inmates, because he had murdered a pregnant woman. The Aryan Brotherhood considered this dishonorable and turned him down initially. However, the Aryan Brotherhood eventually realized that Manson's followers could be exploited, and the AB began to provide protection for Manson while his followers smuggled drugs and weapons into prisons.

If any of you commit a crime and go to prison, you may want to consider joining the Aryan Brotherhood. Either that or end up being some black guy's biatch.

TheGrayCat: Lsherm: Sometimes people just need killing. This guy was one of them. Not for being a drunk, but for seemingly having absolutely no remorse about or capability to learn from his mistakes.

Yeah, I'm sure Mr. White Power is SOOOOOOO remorseful about the homeless guy he butchered, too.

But, hey, keep cheering him on. I'm sure this had everything to do with the kid and nothing to do with gang activity in jail.

Yeah, it's funny folks are taking a convicted murderer's word as to the reason the other inmate was stabbed to death.

This was more likely a message to other prisoners as to who runs the show at the prison and what happens to those who don't follow the rules. Pure speculation, of course... But it makes more sense than the violent criminal, who murdered a homeless man, and belongs to the freakin' Aryan Brotherhood, a notoriously violent prison gang, killed this guy because he was so offended by his crime.

Lsherm: jack21221: Why is it that people who believe in white supremacy don't have anything going for them in life to make them superior to anybody?

I never see a medical doctor or college professor with a "white power" tattoo.

It's a gang. You usually don't see successful people in gangs outside of the music industry.

What is amusing is that these kinds of groups get together, make up pissy little ranks and medals which mean absolutely nothing outside their pathetic little "organisation," give them to themselves, and then act as though they are successful, important, and covered in honour and glory.

///Grand Imperial Wizard of the First American Kleagle indeed- what a load of crap!

rudemix: I'm hard pressed to feel sorry for the victim or the murderer here.

I do somewhat.....

"The innocence of a child will be defended at all costs," said Frank Souza, referring to 9-year-old Melody Osheroff, who was killed by a drunken motorcyclist in 2009.

I hate DUI as much as the next guy but it's not like the victim was an intentional child murderer or some child rapist. He accidentally killed a child in a vehicular manslaughter. Jailtime sure but he doesn't deserve to be shanked to death and eyes gouged out by another fellow inmate.

Face tattoos are white people's version of ghetto names, in that both prevent you from getting any sort of high-paying job.

Republican Politicans have the tattoos on the inside of their ass cheeks. They aren't toe tapping for gay sex, they are toe tapping to see who is really on their team. Like a secret handshake, but with man ass.

DrewCurtisJr: Do you have tattoos expressing all of your beliefs?

I guess my issue is that I'm of Anglo-Saxon decent, and I feel that I'm fairly successful (at least academically, I just accepted an offer to join a physics Ph.D program), and I feel like these losers are trying to share the credit for my hard work.

They should take pride in what they actually accomplished and not the accomplishments of others that happen to have a similar skin tone.

Fairly successful huh? How many homeless people have YOU killed, how many children's deaths have YOU avenged? I guess people have different definitions of success.

My point is you can be a white supremacist and not have a tattoo expressing the fact, anyone with even half a brain would know that it is a social and professional liability.

In my experience people who are excessively caught up in their racial/ethnic identities, what ever it may be, usually have some underlying emotional problems.

9 DUIs? Why did they not take his license away at three? Also what is the appeal of drunk driving? Why do people continue after one DUI? To me its bizarre. I like my booze as much as the next guy, but some things you just don't do.

Why do people think taking away a person's license will stop them from driving? I've never understood that. You probably would stop if yours was taken away, huh? (Guessing from the way you seem to have some morals when it comes to drinking & driving.) Lots of people don't. Apparently this dude had a few driving without a valid license offenses to his name as well.

I think its because most people assume that if you get caught driving without a license, you lose your vehicle and go to jail for a while. We also assume that repeat offenses after that lead to progressively longer sentences. I presume this isn't the case in real life, though.

Bit'O'Gristle: Mangoose: Bit'O'Gristle: Souza's sentencing for the murder of Schaefer concluded years of criminal hearings that flowed from the death of Melody Osheroff, who was a fourth-grade student at San Ramon Elementary School. The Osheroff family still has a lawsuit pending against the city of Novato. Schaefer, a repeat drunken driver, struck Melody and her father Aaron in a crosswalk on San Marin Drive. Melody died the next day, and her father suffered major internal injuries and the loss of a leg.

/If nobody else is gonna say it, Thank you for ridding the world of one scumbag piece of shiat. This is possibly the only thing you have done right for society in your miserable worthless life, and for this, i thank you.

I'm always curious what it is that keeps people like you from manning up and making this world a better place.

/I was in the Army, a police officer, an emt, and a fireman. I think i've done my part. What have you done?

Well, unfortunately unlike you I wasn't a rotating member of the Village People.
