Sometimes the dogs don't hear it, so you've got to punch them in the face and scream the n-word. It's just sound political strategy.

Nope. Not racist.

Are you saying Corsi is not being racist here just really REALLY tone deaf and historically ignorant?

The ignorance argument is kinda compelling considering who we're dealing with here.

No, just saying that contrary to your statement I am not myself a racist.

Because you thought I was being serious and not just pre-emptively mocking the RW projectionists?

Just the other day, my gf's eldest daughter pointed out that the black girl in The Hunger Games was especially adept at climbing trees, compared to all the rest of the characters. I giggled for an hour, mostly because she didn't get why I yelled "THAT'S WACIST".

why does rue have to be black not gonna lie kinda ruined the movie

"And most hauntingly, a twelve-year-old girl from District 11. She has dark brown skin and eyes, but other than that, she's very like Prim in size and demeanor." ―Katniss Everdeen, while watching Rue's reaping.

I pictured a black girl when I read Hunger Games, but I guess she could have been Native American or Indian.

I picture Native American. It's a very common description for that.

Doubly so if they mention things like "olive complexion".

But it's not a big deal. Books always allow a person to see whatever they like, and movies always change that.

You can have it both ways. :)

No, Arnie still wouldn't be natural born. Naturalized is not natural-born. Or course they are also wrong about what it is as well.

Nope. You either have to be born in this country, have to American citizens as your parents (and be born elsewhere), or have one American parent. At the time that Obama was born there was a quirky rule about your American citizen parent having to have lived in America for a certain amount of time in order for the child to be considered natural born, but even that requirement was fulfilled (and later that requirement was removed from the books).

As for Arnold, it will take a Constitutional amendment to make him eligible to be President of this country. He was not born here nor were either of his parents American citizens.

Being one of those foreign born of American parents natural citizens, my adult child also born foreign does not have US citizenship because I had not lived here at all when she was born and she has never lived here. My 10 yo is naturualized because he was born foreign while I was living here but before I had lived here 3 years so no natural US citzenship for him. My youngest was born here.

Go ahead, Republicans. Please continue to let your party be lead by these extremist Right-wing types amongst the Birther movement, so this country will continue to be lead by Democrats for the foreseeable future.

You know the old statement "If you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas"? This is what the Republicans have wrought, by courting the extreme Right. The GOP is now infested with homophobes, racists, and woman-hating mongrels. All just to get a few more votes. How's that working out for you now, Republicans?

Obama will win again in 2012.
Dems will retake the House and Senate in 2012.

Meanwhile, the Republicans will still be looking for the "real" birth certificate, and wondering how attacking Gays and Women's rights didn't win them the Presidency.

This article has brought to my attention that Presidebt Obama is black. Has he always been black? Or is this a recent development?

2012-04-06 04:52:11 AM
I'm a Birther and proud of it. Obama has not yet sufficiently proven to me that he was born. I think he was created in a communist/socialist/facist/librul/mooslim laboratory in Kenya by the shadow organization know only as "Acorn". Any thinking man can see that Obama is one half of the foretold "Mabush" the dual anti-christ that will preceed the comming of Satan. "Ma" obviously refers to Margret Appletree, that devil biatch that broke my heart in the 5th grade when she asked me to the Saddie Hawkins dance in front of the popular crowd. When I said, "Why yes Margret I'd be delighted", she kicked me in the nuts and pushed me in a mud puddle. They all just stood their laughing at me!!! The second half of the half quatrain "Bush" obviously refers to Obama becauces he's black and we all know blacks have hair that resemlbes pubic hair which also resembles bushes.

How?

How is this still an issue for people?

Does the US not have some kind of electoral department that sets rules as to who can be elected, and then verifies each candidate's qualifications before they're allowed on the ballot? Because if they don't I'll take the next flight down there and announce I'm running for president.

Seriously, the guy went through a screening process, just like every other person who got put on the ballot. He met all of the mandatory requirements, was put on the ballot, and won.

Now of course, if that isn't a good enough reason for you, then how can you be sure of the legitimacy of ANY president?

Oh right.. he's black. Never mind.

You think that FOIA requests made years ago were strategically delayed as part of a Liberal plot in conservative-run Alaska?

You think people who had delayed requests are just going to say, "Oh, well, she's out of office now, I'm sure everything was just fine and dandy," thus empowering the weapon of Delay for all future administrations?

And knowing this, he still used the word. Why? Because birthers are EXTREME attention whores. Corsi knew full well that this quote would get him front and center on the Blog-o-sphere who can't wait to opine on the latest outrage. Once it gets picked up across the web, it's instant marketing for his stupid book. And so begins the suckering of some right-wingers into buying it.

Corsi's continued existence only serves to show what a bunch of suckers most hard core right wingers are.

I love the brithers, they are just morons of the highest order. What makes it so funny to me is even if they were right (they aren't, but we are playing make believe here) it STILL wouldn't matter. Obama is the president. It's done. You missed your window of opportunity. I guess maybe they think that they can stop him from getting elected again but of course there's a problem with that: The Secretary of State is who certifies that presidential candidates are eligible. Well when Obama ran first it was Bush's guy so had there been anything there, you'd think he'd go for it. This time it is Obama's guy.

It is just such a worthless issue, even if you are crazy enough to believe it is true.

Oh but speaking of other stupidity, put that farking state IQ chart away. Not only did Snopes already deal with it (http://www.snopes.com/politics/ballot/stateiq.asp) it also shows that perhaps you aren't as smart as you think because you need to L2statistics. 100 is the average score (as in it is defined as the statistical average, it is a normalized test). The standard deviation of an IQ tests is 15 points. You are not going to find a state that is a SD above or below the mean. If you can't understand why not then as I said, L2statistics.

/ And then maybe learn some educational theory about why it is not such a great test.
// The answer to abject brither stupidity is not more stupidity.
/// Worse is Taziz almost certainly has an IQ above 120, maybe above 130. IQ != common sense.

Endorsed by the Morris County Republican Party.

I.e., mainstream.

This is what the GOP has for this November. Best of luck, guys.
